Came across this the other day and thought it was pretty interesting. A kid who we releasedck a few years ba is getting talked up a lot since signing for Palace as Zaha's replacement. Cost £4.5 million with the potential to amount to £8.5 with add ons

He played the game like I've never seen anyone else play it. It was pure art form. I feel like my belly's full after watching that, and my eyes very slightly damp.

I gotta say, Wenger's Arsenal team with Bergkamp, Henry, Pires, Vieira etc playing under lights at Highbury playing free flowing quick powerful football is the greatest sight I have seen in football. More exciting than all these Barcelona teams.

We need to forget about all these oil clubs and focus on bringing that level of quality back again in our first team. We got close with the Rosicky-Cesc-Hleb-RVP-Adebayor team but our squad was too thin.

I was watching Football Gold on Sky Sports a few hours ago when it happened to show that epic ****up of a game that was the 4-4 NLD in '08 at the Emirates. Its such a shame Wenger failed to address the weaknesses in that squad because with van Persie, Fabregas, Nasri and Adebayor (Hleb, Flamini and Rosicky the season before)we were more than capable of winning the league if Wenger had just bought a solid defensive midfielder, goalkeeper and a left back.

But that would have required the sale of one of the aforementioned star names, as we all know, to "balance the books"

Arsenal legend Robert Pires appears to be enjoying a relaxing retirement in Greece but this weekend he was spotted on the sidelines of a friendly and he put on his boots one more time.

Home side Storm Rafina were 2-1 down at half-time and asked the 39 year old winger if he’d like to get involved.

To their delight, he obliged and helped them turn the game around to beat AO Mykonos 3-2.

The Frenchman bagged a classy goal and a fine assist.

Isn’t Arsène Wenger looking for a new signing?

Ex-Arsenal Armand Traore sends a pornstar a proposition
August 28th, 2013 by Kevin Coleman

The 23-year-old, now at QPR, was spotted sending this message over Instagram today. He’s not the first sportsperson to be caught sending such messages, but it doesn’t make it any less awkward/funny.

$2,000 a day? Cleary QPR are paying this lad too much.

Gervinho is wrong. Wenger gave him two seasons, sure at a mid-table club he would get 'confidence' in droves. But at a bigger club, it is on the player to fill his manager with confidence with his displays.

I hate 'confidence' players. You are paid tons of money, if you need a grown man constantly telling you how much he rates you to perform, well that just tells you all you need to know.

We need to stay away from these type of players in future.

That woman has to be mentally ill. I wouldn't call that 'going to town', since that would validate what she did as reasonable behaviour.
