Sol Campbell may take up a coaching role at Ajax.

Campbell said: “I have gone to Ajax to get an impression about the way they work. I spoke with Dennis to come here to Amsterdam. I am also going to have talks with Marc Overmars, who is technical director here, and with Edwin van der Sar, who is commercial director. I want to hear their views too.

“It is interesting to see how many former players Ajax have installed in important positions in the club. That is a real learning moment for me.

“I am also really keen to learn about the Ajax football and training philosophy. They are working a lot with individual coaches. That really does help players with their development. In eight months I hope to have my own coaching badges."

Don't think I've ever raged as much watching football as I did when he done this against City.

The **** missed a tap in against ****ing Bradford

The only forward I've ever seen who was more likely to miss 1 on 1's than score them, even Bendtner, Chamakh and Park weren't at that level of ****ness in front of goal. Not to mention his first touch, jesus christ......

Ok Gervinho was on twitter just there and is angry at the English media for doing what they never do and twist peoples words...

Basically he doesn't hate Arsenal after all.

League is very weak

What absolute bollocks. Im not a violent person but sometimes I feel like buying a ticket to a Chelsea game just so I can throw something at Cesc.

His quote does not match the headline that the editor has spun. All he says in his quote is that the league has improved defensively since 2011 and coaches are more cautious attacking. Nothing controversial there. But of course a catchy (and blatantly made up) headline is click bait.

My reaction was to his quotes, not the headline. The league hasn't improved, or is defensively better, and stability of the top teams is debateable when you look at Utd, or ourselves and Liverpool losing players in recent years.

The league, at the top, is as poor as its ever been in the last 10 years.

Try reading the article before you judge, especially as it's the Mail...

I can't see how it's possible to make anything bad of what Cesc said

I actually forget he plays for Chelsea until I read headlines or come on here. If I cared any less I wouldn't have a pulse.

Dont you think the lower half of the league has improved tremendously? Even teams like Stoke can now play on the counter. Not to mention teams like Southampton and Swansea who have been promoted recently and can yet mix it up with the big boys.

What, this?

'I feel that for the top teams it is a bit more difficult to attack than it was before. Spain technically is a great league and maybe it's still a little more tactical than England but that has improved a lot here'.

You might not agree with that (I do), but it's no slur or back handed insult to Arsenal.

Yep it's going to be incredibly tough for Chelsea when Cesc fails to spot midfield runners.
