So that means the rule is active everywhere? I was under the impression it was an eredivisie thing because I've seen the double punishment still given elsewhere. Tonight for example.

The rule is if it's deemed the foul was an accident you don't have to send them off anymore. That was the change to the rule. If the refs still think it was deliberate then it's a red card.
