Wants you to learn about football
Yeah. Lampard was smarter.
ramsey is very smart
his off the ball movement shows that.
his decision making is a bit rushed from time to time, but that has more to do with his urgency levels than his intelligence.
he is becoming less and less naive from time to time.
as i have said many times, Ramsey is elite and the dream of every single manager out there

We'll find out soon enough if other managers are brave enough to reach out for their dream of doing whatever to have this elite football player in their team. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern etc

Swears he's not a Tottenham fan
He did some annoying things today but I actually liked his overall performance. By and large used his energy and movement to good effect. Just wish he was more secure on the ball.

He'll never be that player. Just appreciate his attributes and hope that he and Xhaka can form a strong pairing with 3 centre backs behind them. Cazorla can't be relied on. Elneny and Coq are average at this level. AMN isn't ready and has a lot to prove.

Despite the fact that for a few years now, Ramsey has been a target for fan frustration, there are just so many average players in Arsenal's squad that there is no way anyone can reasonably argue that he shouldn't be kept at the club and given a chance alongside Xhaka at CM. Perhaps another more technical CM will come in to replace Cazorla, but there are so many players who aren't good enough for Arsenal and should be moved on before Ramsey is considered for sale - Debuchy, Coquelin, Elneny, Wilshere, Giroud, Walcott, Jenkinson. Also, upgrades on Perez, Cech, Mertesacker, Gabriel and Gibbs/Monreal are more urgent than letting Ramsey leave.

Majority of those players are better than Ramsey

Elneny, coq and xhaka havent got a patch on an in form Ramsey. Never did understand why many people on here rate him so little. Do people on here not enjoy football?

Might have something to do with being able to count Ramsey's half decent peformances in three years on one hand. Extremely frustrating player to watch these past three seasons were he has been the worst peformer or the second worst in the squad each season the past few years.

In form is the relevant part of you quote. Just a question if how many more years we wait for a 13/14 style season.

He's not a striker though, it's about his all round game. If he continues to put in the same level of performances (give or take) that he has in the last three games which have practically been to the same level as his 13/14 performances minus the goals, I'm pretty sure some goals will come. Cazorla isn't judged on goals. Özil has six goals this season.

Ramsey's the sort of player who's liked by people who don't know much about football, because he runs around a lot and tries all sorts of stupid things and gets in the way of better players, but they think he's 'unlucky' when he obviously messes up.

People who understand football see someone who's irresponsible, immature and not that technically gifted.

That may be and I tend to agree. I don;t want to jump the gun because it's been a couple of weeks but in my view Aaron has lifted his game recently. His runs have been well timed. He hasn't been, as you rightly say, getting in the way of his team mates.

One of the things I love most about modern football are fans talking down to us plebs whose pea sized brains don't allow us to appreciate the high art form of football on the same intellectual level as them. Great stuff.

It's actually the opposite.

Ramsey's the sort of player who's disliked by people who don't know much about football. They don't see off the ball movement. They don't see third even fourth man runs. They don't see that when a player runs into the box in a very calculated way and in some cases purely to cause disruption it's for a purpose which opens up space for a team-mate. They see that as somebody who's running into the box aimlessly for glory when in fact it's done in a very intelligent way and for a reason.

People who understand football know that it doesn't matter if it's Alexis or Ramsey. If the manager has instructed them to get forward and be creative, Ramsey has as much entitlement as anyone to try "something stupid" which probably means a clever flick or turn which in the past has resulted in numerous assists and goals for him and our team. But you're probably forgetting the time he danced past three Norwich players in the area and scored, or the time he made a late run into the box and scored the goal to win us the cup final, or the time at Norwich away when is hit a volley from the air into the top corner or the time he scored a long range left footed 35 yard half volley away in the UCL. And most people who understand football recognise that often for one moment of magic it may take 9 attempts. And for the one moment of doing something that many can't they'd rather have one special moment out of 10 rather than no special moments.

People who understand football recognise that your perceived irresponsible comment can be attributed to a manager who is giving the instructions i.e get forward. Your immature comment is funny considering he married at a young age, is never seen on Instagram clowning around like others in our team and is actually up there with the most serious dedicated in our squad.

And quite frankly, this not technically gifted seriously doesn't even deserve comment.

If Piers Morgan hadn't started to get at Ramsey years ago (because Piers is an absolute idiot in general), and Ramsey was mixed race with some sort of fancy hairstyle and clowned around on Instagram like Iwobi or Ox he's probably be the poster boy for the moaners.

Unfortunately, he gets his head down, isn't outspoken, works hard and people see this as an opportunity to attack him.

OH and you probably seriously don't understand football if you can't see why we need a player like Ramsey right now especially how he's been performing recently.
