So we only go for 2 of them but also decrease the price for Auba by offering Giroud - sounds like we are making a profit this window

Malcom or PEA along with Mkhitaryan.

In other words, we'll be making a profit no matter what.

One can guess, Malcom is going to be the one that falls out even though he was the most important piece in the chain.

We shall drive for potential, it's the only way to get back that glimmer of hope that we will get out of that big mess someday.

It makes perfect sense we go for 2 out of those 3. Its just I would like for one of them to be a younger player.

You're 100% right btw. Fekir over Aubameyang every day of the week. Fekir playing as a second striker behind Lacazette works much better than Aubameyang & Lacazette fighting over penalty duties.

Lacazette is our big money striker who will be 27 at the start of next season. He has a good 3-4 years in him at the top level. We should be building a team to get the best out of him. What he needs is passers in midfield who can find his runs, wingers who take their men on to take the attention off him and draw people out of position for space to be created. What he doesn't need is another big money centre forward coming in to destroy his confidence further.

Fekir should definitely be our first choice signing of the summer as we can't get him in January. Malcolm would be an excellent buy for the right side. Therefore we need to really concentrate on buying a winger for that left hand side in this window to replace Alexis.

Surely we should be looking at Bailey. Why are we going to spend so much money on Auba, it doesn't make sense. Get Malcolm in for £45 million and go big on Bailey for £60 million, then sell Alexis for £45 million to United (no player included), sell Walcott for £20 million. It means effectively we are only spending £28 million on Bailey as we also sold Coquelin. What the hell are we doing? Waiting on a player who can't decide if he wants to come to us. Why do we want players who don't want to be here.

Whats even worse is that there is so much publicity on Alexis going to United that people have ignored the fact that Özil will follow him there in the summer. United would have took our two best players for nothing and given us someone they dont want.

I'd rather see us line up with a team for the future and bed them in for the rest of the season than do what we are doing now.

Özil goes in the summer, replace him with Fekir.

Doubt Özil's going anywhere. New house in London, new wife on the way. He's ready to retire.

So he'll be signing the contract extension.

If we're really gonna swap Alexis for that fat farmer plus cash and let Giroud go for Auba, that will be the end for me to watch this team for a while. Giroud is not a worldclass player, but he is very useful and Arsenal is at least very important to him, at least he plays for the badge. The most likeable bloke next to Jack for me. Auba is just as toxic as Alexis and imo not that great player. Has many goals in his game, but most of his goals are tap-ins.
