The overall chemistry? What are you, their shrinks?

You do know that most of the squad wants him gone right? You do know that over the past 12 months he's been not been speaking to most players in the squad. We can all see that some players don't even pass to him during games.

You know only what you read from other people with agendas that suit an agenda, and this probably suits yours.

As for how obvious it is that players don't pass to him during games... If that were true, I'd say that's probably why we're sh!t! But it's not true, so I'm willing to blame the sh!t manager and sh!t players for us being sh!t, and Alexis doesn't fall into that category.

Real aren't interested in Alexis because they don't want to pay him a big salary on a contract extension.

But I think we should try to pitch them on taking him as a rental player just for the rest of the season-- we sell him there for a cut price, he helps with their Champions League campaign, then leaves after the season.

How much would it be worth to them to add a star attacker for a few months who is not cup-tied in the CL, with no long term commitment and only making the wages he gets on his current Arsenal contract? If they don't even want to pay for that, maybe we could see if they would swap us a player that isn't in their present or future plans for a few months of Alexis. I would rather see that then let him join Man U or Chelsea.

Historically, that's true. I've never said any different. City is just an upstart with bags of money. But if you look at which club is better-equiped to win things over the next couple of years, it's quite obviously City. They have a better squad. They have a better coach. They have better finances. Of course United could win big things. But I'd put my money on City. United's success under Fergie and Busby aren't really relevant to the current situation.

Plus, Alexis would be playing for a manager who encourages creativity rather than one who stifles it.
Well id say all that is subjective. Mourinho has won European trophies at three different clubs. United have a fantastic squad and a brilliant manager. To say United aren't as equally equipped to be as successful as City is bizarre.

They have spent 95m and 85m on players (more than City have spent on any individuals player) financially they are out spending City to acquire Alexis. They have the resources, the manager and the players to be considered as genuine contenders for every competition they enter.

Why so serieuse?
Mourinho is a **** manager and I can't wait to see Sanchez waving his hands at him when they play with 10 men behind the ball each time they play anyone half decent. They're also going to play him at the right where he performed the worst for us. So buying Sanchez doesnt really solve too much for them.

Because of the past? Ok, Wenger is great manager aswell in that case.
Aye cause of the past

In the past 8 years Mourinho has won the Champions League, the Europa league, the Italian league, the Spanish league and the English league not to mention numerous domestic cups.

Mourinho has won trophies more recently than the great Pep.

Wenger hasn't won a league in 14 years or been to a European final in 12 years. Wenger was a great manager in the past now he is only a good manager. When Mourinho goes 14 years without a league win then you can say the same about him. As it is his last league win was 3 years ago and he has bridged that gap with another European trophy that Wenger has never picked up.

Mourinho is a cretin but his managerial qualities and achievements cannot be doubted.

United has spent a lot of money, but they still have a flawed squad. They're closer to Arsenal than they are to City. In order to win things, they need to become better than City (and better than Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern and PSG for the Champions League). That won't be easy. They have a manager who can be great, but who has a difficult time getting along with either management or players and who has never managed anywhere more than three seasons. So why should we expect his time at United to be any different? He won a championship in the second season of his second time around at Chelsea, then had them near the relegation zone before being fired because he poisoned his own dressing room.

And that's before we even get to his style, which United fans will accept if he does win the Premier League or the Champions League, but they'll have little patience with him if he doesn't do it by the end of next season (or before if it doesn't look like they have a great chance).

Oh, and one more thing. They may be spending big, but United's debt rose to £409 million last year, so every spending spree puts the club in a more precarious financial position. City's ownership wiped out it's debt and they've even made profits. So City is in a much better financial position.

He also transformed Chelsea to relegation candidates. And, once again, the Mickey Mouse treble is not impressive. If Wenger had won it you would have said the same.

Mkhitaryan was absolutely MASSIVE in his last season at Dortmund.
Literally unplayable and showing worldclass performance after worldclass performance.

His abilities cannot be doubted but rather, if he gets there again and whether he will not only continue to be an expensive passenger.

But the real reason this deal is terrible is because no Arsenal fan wants to see a repetition of the RVP incident, no Arsenal fan wants to see Alexis playing for ManU, no Arsenal fan wants to see those arrogant fans boasting again like they are without equal and no Arsenal fan wants to see that jerk Mourinho getting his man.

If it does happen it should at least hurt them as well which only would go along with someone like Martial going the other way..
