Not really a fan of ancelotti taking over right now or after the loss to milan but you never know....the new lease on life & players feeling actual pressure to perform within some actual structure could create a top 4 contest, if the others choke that is.

Carlo & Mesut historically not a great combo tho eh??

Wenger does NOT deserve a classy end of season hand over any more. Needs to literally ripped from his stubborn grasp.

Wenger says the game was a game where we are low on confidence. He felt we needed to be level at HT. We put in a huge physical effort and says that the goals were preventable. It was "soft defending" on our part. We needed the penalty he says. The "hype" surrounding our performance hit us hard. Asked whether he expects the scrutiny to intensify,he expects the club to unify. He wants to earn fans by the quality of our performances. He says it has to come from the players and doesn't expect the fans to be "euphoric" at 2-0 down. He has absolute confidence that he can turn it around having done so in the past and believes in the quality of the players.
He was very down but honest. Articulate man and I love him and hate what AFC is going through atm.

Was it worth it in the end, leaving Highbury? For what, this? A soulless bowl of a stadium that no-one even wants to go to anymore.

How dare they destroy our history for corporate greed. We had some barren years at Highbury, but at least it was home. And you could actually afford to attend. Look at what we have now. Every year that passes I miss it more and more. It's like a painful divorce that i've never really gotten over. The soul of the club was lost in 2006. Wenger's a legend, but that loss to Barca killed something inside of him, and we've never recovered since, even with all the millions we've spent over the last few years. Something was gone forever since that night in Paris.

He should never have stayed at Arsenal all this time. A really poor decision.

It was great decision, for him, the club and the fans. It was great for the world. You only see decisions like that once before in the world and that was Jesus.

Lets please. Please not forget everything he has done for the club and the fans as viewers of the sport. Lets be thankful and stop with the hate. He will leave most likely in the summer. People will get their wishes. Lets stop with the hate towards him until then.

Yes it was worth it. If we stayed at highbury we may have won an extra title,. But the investment in other clubs would have blew us away regardless. Tottenham are building a new stadium, it's an important asset to become a truly big club and compete fairly on a financial level.

I meant for him, not Arsenal. He had a chance to go to a club like Real Madrid with much more money to spend when he was younger.

Staying at Arsenal during the stadium build when other teams were getting oil money and he was getting less and less was a career mistake.
