It's sickening to have to say, but I genuinely fear for everyone who represents Arsenal when they travel to Russia, unless any of the board are planning to go (yeah, right). The fans are obviously very exposed to violence, but anything connected to the team is also a legit worry imo, from the eating arrangements to the safety of the flight (pilots etc) itself. I'd want the plane to be escorted by two RAF Tornados, and I wouldn't want the plane on the return flight to be on their runway for more than 20 minutes. Preferably, one could come and pick them up with enough fuel on board to not have to refuel in Russia. **** knows what they could put in the tank.

I'm clinging onto the fact that being sportsmen protects them, in that Russia knows the rest of the world wouldn't accept any ****ery, and they would 100% be held accountable if the plane was blown out of the sky or any of the players suddenly lost 100LB in weight and all their hair on the flight home.

Nah we’re good. Let’s not forget Usmanov owns 30% of the club. I doubt Putin is going to **** all the investment of someone who makes large donations towards him.

If I was a fan I wouldn’t go though. Almost certain to get your head kicked in and the police will turn a blind eye.
