Um...Özil and Mkhi are not levels above him. They are better in certain things, but Ramsey has more going for him in other categories.

He is the Jack of All trades as far as players go...and one thing that he has that the others in our side don't is Fearlessness. You can't say the same about Özil or any other player. Ramsey can do more things on a football pitch than what any of our other players can do. He's not a specialist...but he's successful and finds a way to get things done.

Holy smokes !!
You need to look out of your silo every now and then matey.

i somewhat agree with this :) Ramsey has top tier mentality, will never put his head down and always push on trying to make himself available and gets stuck in.

Him coming back from his injury to plah like this is a testament to his sheer will

I thought the mark of a very good player is that they will have moments of playing like **** yet adjust and find a way to push through that to make something happen.
If Özil had done the exact same thing he would be praised. Those bashing Rambo simply just dont like him

Contributing an assist/goal every 117.8 minutes in the league, which is only slightly worse than David Silva (117.3) and better than De Bruyne (123).

Obviously he isn’t as good as those two but it just shows how well he is playing. Ramsey will probably never be world class but he definitley makes full use of the abilities he does have.

He played considerably less minutes though.

I’m very happy he’s finding some form and producing numbers similar to his wonder season but he’s nowhere near the level of KDB and Silva.

Its always about Mesut somehow. Can’t we just be happy with Ramsey’s performance? I felt proud of him. It says a lot that you guys make this about one of our other players somehow. Weak, weak mentality. Unlike our boy Ramsey!

69 sprints :confused: No wonder his hammys keep popping lol..
Too much stamina for his own good.

Under Wenger I was happy for us to sell Ramsey abroad for big money as I was convinced Arsène couldn't get the best out of him without exposing us defensively.

Definitely keep him now that we have a new manager coming in. If we can get Mkhi, Ramsey, Özil, Laca/Auba all purring without being a complete defensive ****show then we have a lot to be excited about.

I think end product is the best metric to judge Ramsey by, he's not like other midfielders. As long as he's producing he's worth his place in the tea imo.
Yep judge him like a forward (which is why he can't be part of a midfield two IMO), he's never going to be your silky CM who's going to dictate the game for you. That's meant to be Xhaka.

Exactly.
No other club would buy him for a CM role. None !

Onlly undervalued Wenger.
He wihave to move if he wants guaranteed play.

I think he knows it.

People may not say he's 'world class' but who would of said that about Salah last season? Now he looks like a ballon dor winner. Next season Rambo under a new boss and fresh coaches he could easily find another level and become so called 'world class'. Quality player tho, Rambo deserves much more credit.

People want him to be sold, but they just don't understand that replacing Ramsey would cost 60-70m in the current market if we want to replace him with a player with at least the same quality.

Also he is our best CM, a long-serving player, who also shows up in finals etc. It just amazes me, why would you want to sell Ramsey.

How could anyone in their right mind think that Ramsey is on the same level as Özil ?
Has all reason be lost ?
We are talking about football aren't we........

Serious question.

His ceiling may be higher than Özil's. Serious.

I’ve told Dave to cut off his ponytail. I think it makes him less aerodynamic.
