Juniniho, Zola, Wise, Kante, Ortega, Hassler, Baresi, Makelele, Maradonna, Hagi, Cannavaro and Insigne are all great players.

He's a terrier and very aware of his position on the pitch. He gets close to the opposition player with the ball like Arteta and will be all over them. Yes he is small but he wins a few fouls. Where I'd like him to improve is his physical strength to resist being shoved off the ball which happened a bit today. He has good set piece delivery and a fierce shot. As long as he has technically good players to pass to and who can hold the ball, he should be an asset.

Height fine as long as team balanced.

Undersized DM, full backs & CBs its an issue.

We have one hefty LB, a new decent sized RB & looking to improve the CB group.

Looked good today, he will definitely make it harder for teams to score against us and will be plenty of potential to improve aswell as surrounded by better players.

Will he miss the first few games of the season though if Uruguay continue to progress? He hasnt played much football so I hope he will be starting our first few games before being given a break if needed.

Messi is quite short as well. I would take Diaby out of that list though. He was ridiculously talented but his ankle was ruined by that Sunderland player who was played for an already relegated team.

He defended really well horizontally. Kept covering the half space really well, providing an extra body.

All the players we've brought in are high energy players and he definitely showed that. Seems like we're gonna be pressing high up.

Absolutely. I like that he can play both types of CDM - sit or press. Xhaka can't press at all. AMN is the closest alternative but he needs the time.

I also like how Torreira is almost always on the half-turn, ready to cover or press.

Fine post till you hit that last paragraph mate.
How dare you putting Diaby into that bracket?

That guy was even performing twice as good as the rest you mentioned when he was just returning from 14 months + of being injured.

A fit Diaby who does not get injured all the time is in the current market a definite 100m+ player and should be the first with Kante on the France team sheet.
