So what was he supposed to do? Its a free header so he had to try.

I like Leno but that was a criminal error.

Either you come and take it (the ball & the man) or you stay in your goal - better chance of saving it.

His indecisiveness has cost us a point.

I hope emery just back to 4 at the back i hate playing 3421 when you don't have the players to play in this formation at least in 433 most of players play in thier best position apart from the wingers

We don't have cb's that are good enough otherwise we wouldn't have conceded 23 goals.

It's pretty f*cking obvious. Mustafi isn't a starting cb at all. We've scored more goals than every team but City, we need a winger at some point but centre back is the obvious priority.

Our attack will be more than enough for top four if Laca and Aubameyang start games together regularly.

Yes, we have quality going forward, but not quite enough.

We drew at home to Wolves, scraped past Huddersfield at home, drew at home to Pool. In all these games our defence was sturdy enough- problem is we struggled to create chances due to our lack of quality width.

Our goal return is flattering. A lot of our goals have come in spurts, like against Fulham or Leicester. Unlike Citeh and Liverpool who control games and score at pretty much any time.

Pool have Mane and Salah. Citeh have Sterling and Sane. Chelski have Hazard and Willian. Spuds have Son and Moura. Heck, even Yanited have Martial.

Those are all explosive wide players. They can turn a game with a bit of trickery and pace. That’s a luxury we do not have. Our defence is pants but we’re an attacking team- we should be blowing **** teams away.

The AMN - Monreal - Koscielny - Bellerin back four have played a few times haven't they?

Pretty sure they have - maybe not all at the same time but they've all covered that positions. Surely that four couldn't have been any worse than the five we saw today. Plus it would have stiffened up our midfield with Xhaka in there.

Why has he persisted with this three at the back ****e? The only game where it looked good was against Sp**s in the first half. Yet again he was forced to change to a back 4 and we started to look better going forward (the defending was still **** mind you).

I am as disappointed as the next man but sorry, it isn't good enough to say that Emery was to blame for that defence without explaining exactly who you would have selected instead.
I would have played Bellerin,Kos,Monreal and Lich in a back 4. That would have allowed Xhaka to move in to midfield and give is something control with Torreira and also drop back to make a back 5 if necessary. Drop Guendouzi from the starting line up. Play Ramsey, Miki and Auba with Laca up front. Don't play any two of Iwobi, Miki or Özil at the same time at any stage of the game. We have to try and win a game early as come backs are exhausting especially if it becomes the norm.

I agree he hasn’t been good, but when all our GKs are failing the issue can’t lay with them.
We have been better defensively since the beginning of the season, but there are the same issues that have been there since Merte broke
Well it's not Wenger or Gerry Peyton now. Cech didn't really fail. He simply can't play out from the back. Our number 1 GK has had a gentle well managed intro to the PL. He should be doing better. If its not the coaches....

They wouldn't get beyond us this season. Can't be having Liverpool pulling away into double figures.

Pool will finish in the top 4 whether they win or lose today. It's Sp**s or Chelsea that we have to catch.
For all the talk of Sp**s dropping off due to a thin squad, we seem to be the ones with the thin squad now.
