Great talent but physically would get bullied in the epl. City or pool where he can grow without having to play every game.
People have to stop making excuses for him.
Why did cazorla, fabregas, silva, nasri, coutinho never get physically bullied? They are technical and skillful players who can dribble they way out, Özil was never a technical player with great skills. He was way overrated in that aspect.

Don´t worry about us wasting 350 K on Özil every week guys, fecking Hakim Ziyech thinks he´s a quality player so it´s all good

Btw can't believe @razörist hasn't told us anything about this and that Arsenal is one of his favourites clubs. Starting to question your Özil stan.
Oh sorry @Furious I didn’t think that was worth mentioning. Every good player in the eredivisie admires Arsenal, our football, and Mesut’s talent. Özil plays the football the dutch people love and so does Arsenal, or we used to anyway. I know for a fact Eriksen and Vertonghen have said they would love to go to a club like Arsenal, great club and fits the football they are used to at Ajax. But we are and have been asleep at the wheel for a while now. All these guys playing at Tottenham should have been easy targets for Arsenal but we sign 20-40M brain dead players from la liga.

Nobody here dreams of playing for Manchester United or something. They’ll go there because money talks but the Dutch are romantics at heart and if you want to play great football at a great club, Arsenal or Barcelona is where you should go.

This is not true. Unless we plan to play him at striker to run on to Kolasinac crosses he will be physically ok. He has great stamina and work rate. So what if he isn’t a bodybuilder or a physical beast, if we play football and press like a team he will be of great value. If we turn it into English man to man battles yeah ok, but even then his aggression will have him end on top many times.

Also why do we judge a player that is creative, skillfull, energetic, goalscoring and a leader on his physicality again?

We judge them on physicality because of the league. The epl is the hardest league physically and allows no adjustment time.

You put a few "ifs" in your post and if what you say in your post becomes true then i agree he will be a success. But please remember "if we play and press like a team" is something that happens once a month. There are only 2 teams in the league who do that week in and week out and they can bring these players in and make them a success.

He’s not leaving, we need to sign players that will increase his utility. Think he would greatly benefit from a proper winger like Zaha in the team who will make runs, draw defenders, leave Özil with more space on the ball and be able to play more centrally. Additionally would like someone who might be better placed to take his spot in the “tougher” away games, if Ziyech has a 25m clause we need to trigger it

Then forget our identity and bring in 5 Sissoko’s for our midfield
