Looked on the club website yesterday to see if I could get a ticket. Yes was the answer. Tells you a lot about the venue for the final that we haven’t sold out our lowly ticket allocation. I’m not going though as I wouldn’t be able to get a week off work to travel to a country I have no desire to visit. A Chelsea fan I work with says they are struggling to sell out as well.

Saw a report that Chelsea have only sold 600 tickets. It says we've sold around 3000. So that'll be 3600 fans there. The rest of the ground will be sponsors and empty stands. What a farce.

I heard they can’t even get rid of some of the other tickets

(Dated yesterday) Mammadov also revealed that the Azerbaijan FA have also held back an additional 6,000 tickets which are now available for sale to fans who send an email request to ticketing@baku2019.az.

Lol. I hope UEFA learns a lesson from this mess and stick to what was working well all these years. At this rate, the flight tickets are also bound to get cheaper soon.

Haven't thought about this... not the worst point.

His injury record though is very good right, so he may not even be thinking about getting injured.

If Özil starts and if Özil can be asked. Neither is an absolute given these days.

As I said there be alot of empty seats I know there Azerbaijan arsenal and Chelsea fans but how much? If both clubs only sold 4K tickets then I'll be surprised if stadium of 65K will be full

Even if you were going hospitality/corporate and getting the tickets for free the travel would be such a hassle you would be inclined to give it a miss.

Can't wait for them to announce the attendance (Arsenal style) as 68,000 despite there being empty seats galore.

The more I think about this, the more it pisses me off that I miss out on my first live Arsenal final because UEFA decided to host this in some dictatorship in Asia, and that I literally would need a week off work to go.

That statement they released just makes it worse. At least just don´t bother responding. How stupid do they think the fans are? Do they seriously believe anyone will buy those old cliches like "spreading the love for the beautiful game", "supporting the footballing family" etc? Just **** off. It´s all bought and we all know it.

Just when you´d think it could´nt possibly get any worse - for the next World Cup actual slaves are used to build the stadiums. We´re talking stuff that was abolished in civilized countries 150 years ago.

The major European FA´s should get together and make the Champions Cup and Europa Cup - same format as before, but no more buying the final and having it in places without the infrastructure to host major events.

That argument of spreading love for the game makes me laugh. There are so many countries in the world which are democratic and a good choice for spreading that love. Instead, they choose Azerbaijan?

Hi all, I bought 4 x Category 1 tickets and now cannot afford travel. I’m struggling to get rid of these tickets and they’re in block 313 which is vip according to seating plan?

If you know anyone interested please let me know, they are all sat together.

Thanks in advance!
