Champions League Final: Liverpool v Tottenham

Whilst I agree with you, I don't think it'd have made much of a difference if Moura had started instead of Kane.

Tottenham didn't get a sniff.
I didn't fancy their chances either, but I felt a lot easier when I saw Kane was starting. They're a completely different attacking side when he's not there and move the ball around quicker.

Was just as nervous watching this final as would of if Arsenal were playing.

The game was p!ss poor, in fact the game-of-which-we-shall-never-speak last wednesday was a slightly better spectacle. Not surprised that two teams from the prem had a poor game, and finals are often a disappointment anyway. Seem to remember Chelsea vs Manu was also straight up garbage.

Sp*rs should never have started Kane.

You guys owe us big time for our win last night :). From the sounds of things of Arsenal fans across the board, if Sp**s won, that would be the end of footballing life for you all so weve saved your enjoyment of football for the next 10 years!

On a side note, youre all despondent at the state of your club, but the funny thing is we took on the Arsenal model to rebuild ourselves.

We invested in young talent who we saw their value go up over time and reinvested the profits.

Your biggest error isnt that you have a self sustaining model and your owner hasnt invested his own cash, we have a self sustaining model too, the difference is management.

You let Ox run down his contract, you let Özil run down his contract, you let Sanchez run down his contract, you let wilshere fizzle out and run down his contract, you let Ramsey run down his contract. Thats about £150-200million of cash literally thrown down the drain.

When we sold the likes of Coutinho and Suarez we reinvested the money. If we let Coutinho run down his contract would we be where we are now without Alison and Van Dijk?

But also we sold Solanke for £20million, Jordan Ibe £15million, Sakho £25million, Danny ings £2omillion.

Youve let the players take power over the club because theres a vacuum at the director level and youve lost out on a lot of cash.

Yes because we needed a Scouser to tell us that, ffs.

Think everyone agrees with you / has said something similar, including all those would-be despondent fans you mentioned. People around here LOVE talking up Liverpool, for — as last night proved — good reason.

It’s not a “what” it’s a “will we,” though...

Top post, especially the last bit. Hope you guys sign Dembele, he’ll be devastating under Klopp.

Very fond of the OX. Proper Arsène signing. Top athlete in alignment with Sagna, Petit, Toure, Diaby, Vieira, Gilberto, Edu, Adebayor, Anelka, Henry. Was watching a documentary about Jean- Marc Guillou. Arsène was so prescient with his franceafrique connections. Yaya would have been a gonner had he been a bit more patient. What happened to Marco Nee whom we took to the Amsterdam tournament?

Thank you Liverpool for saving football. That was very nervy the last ten minutes, I've celebrated that Origi goal like we've just won the European cup. Thanks also Ox for your comments, back in my good books forever now. Classy fella. This weeks turned out alright in the end, would have taken that at the start of the week without any thought needed.

Unlucky Sp**s, at least you'll always have those 107 seconds you were level in the European cup final.

Interesting from Wenger, says Liverpool will need to improve their technical quality to dominate Europe, but in pursuit of that they could lose what they have now - the solidarity and team spirit which drives the current team.

You’re chasing an improvement which might negatively affect the positives you currently have.
