Why did we have names and numbers in yellow on our beautiful kits?

It’s nice seeing willock improving, correcting his style of play.

Correcting his style of play?

This has been his style of play since he was moved into midfield at youth level. He is just managing to transfer it to higher level as he get more experience with first team.

If anything we are yet to see what he was learning last season under Ljungberg and that is his late runs into box who are very dangerous.

And I am glad to see he cuts out all the early/late run on this match. So there will be no gaps in our midfield. And so he can focus on his passing and build up play.
He uses more of his brain to play football instead of running around like a fool.

His runs will be a weapon when he is fully adjusted to this level. He will be able to play as AMC or even in midfield two and making runs like Ramsey did.

Elite talent!

Good talent, who could maybe, play AMC like iniesta or CM like Xavi.

No making ****ing stupid runs like ramsey who leaves huge gaps for the opponent to counter.

You have the most 1-dimensional view of football of anyone I've talked to about the game. More dogmatic than even the old school English fans clinging onto the 2-foot-tackle era.

Uhm yeah, Willock is not going to play like Iniesta or Xavi bro.

And the runs from Ramsey weren't stupid. He was constantly attacking dangerous areas and his movement was elite. If you want to talk about stupid runs, leaving his midfield positioning then talk about Guendouzi who doesn't have clue what he is doing when he leave his position.

Then try to learn from the best, instead of being a **** player wanna be.
Willock has improved and that’s great. I want to see more of that midfield controlling play.

The most improvement Willock did last season with Ljungberg in the u23 was to drive forward and make late runs into the penalty area. Its a one thing he is becoming great at! Hopefully we will see more of it as he grows more confident at senior level!

Willock is different style of player to Iniesta and Xavi and Emery football doesn't require players like Iniesta and Xavi.
