I'm glad I see my two favorite alternatives suggested by posters on here, Firpo and Guerrerio are really good shouts. While the former looks always likely to join one of the Spanish giants, the latter is available since talks with PSG seemed rather unfruitful.

I'd say Firpo is a notch above Tierney with Guerrerio being slightly less of player than the Scotsman due to downsides in his defensive play.

Firpo is comfortable in a left wingback role, Guerrerio as well and he can play CDM as well.

I'd be happy with either 3 tbh.

Yepp, defensively speaking, he's not much of an upgrade. So problem isn't gonna be fixed by him.
