Could anyone pls explain why scottish is so obssessed with number 10?
Two team league. Winning the title was always a coin toss so not relevant in itself. When it’s a given you look for other achievements, so winning 10iar when your only rival was relegated for most of that time and is scraping to get back to competing is seen as an achievement.

They could basically scrap all other games and have Celtic and Rangers play two matches a season to decide who takes the title. Call it Emirates/Audi/IRN Bru cup and be done with it.

Would free the Scottish weekends to watch PL football.

Was Tierney like their Fabregas?
I'm really surprised by this reaction tbh, we are not buying him cheap.
It's even deeper. Had Fabregas been a London lad born and raised coming from Arsenal supporting family it would be the same. Fabregas was always Barca bound due to him being born and raised catalan. Same goes for Bellerin, although he's cockneyed up pretty strong.

Importance/talent wise (relatively speaking) very similar though.

That's a good point. At least Rangers did their 9IAR with their main rivals still being a force. Celtics current run will always feel a bit tainted which is why it probably doesn't mean as much to KT of The AFC.

Apparently at a risk as well as he’s not recovered well from injury apparently I wouldn’t sign anyone from the tin pot Scottish league

I don't have anything against Celtic btw. Respect them as a club and when I catch them on CL nights always keep the telly on. They can't help they're in a limited league. The invasion of opposition fans trying to be smug on an Arsenal forum needs some reality checks handed out though.

@Hooplehead definitely not the worst of the lot, unfortunately we lost contact with the others so he's taking all of the flak.

Rangers werent relegated for most of the time. They spent beyond their means which they couldnt afford and went into liquidation. This wasnt a Juventus demoted for cheating this was a Wimbledon going bust and MK Dons starting up situation.

Im delighted to hear you enjoy watching Celtic on CL nights its a great watch no doubt but there is a lack of historical understanding. Celtic originally done 9 in a row over a period of time when they were crowned European Champions and reached another European final and reached two semi finals whilst other Scottish teams were actually decent in Europe with Rangers winning the cup winners cup.

When Rangers done 9iar Scottish teams in general were poor and Celtic themselves nearly went bankrupt. The first league title Rangers won Celtic finished 3rd then 5th, 3rd, 3rd, 3rd, 4th, 4th, 2nd, 2nd and eventually 1st. Nobody remembers or cares that Celtic were nearly dead on their knees Rangers done their 9 and beat what was in front of them. Celtic have done the same. Its a massive achievement for any club and Im sure Bayern and Juventus wont downplay their domestic winning streak.

Its a bit frustrating when people say the Scottish league is one sided given City got over 100 points two seasons ago and nearly done the same last season. They won 24 domestic games by more than a goal with Celtic only doing the same 16 times. Or the fact Celtic beat St Johnstone 7 nil is proof Scottish football is one sided yet Man City duffing Chelsea 6 nil and won the FA cup final 6 nil isnt proof of the same?

I love the Premier League, its a fantastic league but needed to point out that a lot of what people say is either misinformed or oblivious to similar flaws in the EPL.

Man City will keep on winning the league and sweep up majority of the domestic cups in the foreseeable future.

Raul faffed about with offers he knew wouldn't be accepted because he wanted Celtic to keep paying Tierney's medical costs until the very last minute.

I think Holding, Bellerin and Tierney(if Celtic's manager is to be believed) should all be fit in a month or two for first team duty.
