Guess who's back lads

Glad to see Iwobi go honestly, £40m is about double what he's worth and it shows Emery has a ruthless streak and doesn't want "projects"

He might even be a good signing for Everton as well, but either way glad to be doing excellent business this window.

Imo Nelson is ready to take that left wing spot and is at a good age to claim it. Saka and martinelli can also vie for time and I guess mihki will to sadly.
Really time for Nelson to show us what he has and not be a gym fighter

Some of you people just don't get it. It's not only about Iwobi leaving but replacing him and bringing balance into the team.
Selling Iwobi and loaning out Nketiah is a bone headed move that will cost us if we don't rectify it this January.
I guess some of you aren't interested in winning the europa league. We need squad depth!!
Anyways - I trust most of the "happy people" turning on Reiss and Saka when they have a dip in form.

The squad looks ten times better than it did at the start of the window, Iwobi was pretty poor and Nketiah is unproven talent, I doubt we'd have been leaning on either for a crucial EL final. Besides, we've bought quality in that area of the pitch anyway in Pepe.

Iwobi is very good at ball retention due to his body frame, athleticism and first touch.

From there we go downhill. Pepe must be at least as good since he is no slouch either physically.

But to beat his man and do something with all the retention and carrying, you have to bank on pepe

It's always fun when a few on here think so differently on players than the majority does.

Anyway, Iwobi has been a good servant and a boyhood fan. Wish him the best in his future career. But this is a fantastic decision from the club. He's not good enough for the level that we want, and neither are Miki and others, but for 40m you have to let a player of this stature go.
