When I say Mesut is a softy, I don't mean he is less of a man. Reading things from his autobiography he seems to be quite a sensitive chap. In many ways not designed for this celebrity status he has achieved.

I think there is more to this that we don’t know hired 24 hour security, K-9 units, players being escorted from their home and wives fleeing to Germany.
