Cant believe People want him after the years of disrespect towards Wenger.

I think Wenger loved the personal rivalries. No surprise he was so fond of Fergie later on & happy to dinner at Uefa events / share a studio with Jose.

Despicable human. The way people go over the top about these things is hilarious.

Most of his former players have nothing but good things to say about him. Essien, Drogba, Lampard, Terry, Ibrahimovic, Eto'o (who disliked him before joining Inter), the entire Inter side, Özil, Lukaku (who had a falling out with him), Matic joined him twice, Carvalho joined him a three different clubs. All top players, all players with great mentality all love Jose and have nothing but good words for him. All see him as a father figure and a mentor.

He called Wenger a specialist in failure because Wenger said he (and Rodgers) had a fear of failure. He called Wenger a voyeur because Wenger was talking about Chelsea. It both instances he was defending himself and his team. Some people are like that and the way the journalists asked the question made it seem like Wenger was full on having a go at him and Rodgers so naturally he got quite defensive about it. Fergie and Wenger used to have goes at each other all the time and have been great friends for a long time. In the heat of the battle things get said. So what? Wenger has moved on from them. I bet Wenger would rather see Jose managing than what Emery is doing. Especially considering Wenger says he's an Arsenal fan I'm sure he'd want the best for the club. In any case Wenger is gone we can't keep looking at the past we have to move on at the club and the most important thing is the success of the club above all else. You do not turn down a world class manager because of a few things he said about a manager that we chose to get rid of.

Worth mentioning that Mourinho will have an way better environment to work in. Sanllehi, Edu and Josh. That’s competent people, unlike Woodward at United.
Also on the pitch the best striker he has had for years in Auba & a wide player in Pepe he watched alot after being sacked.

If he could balance the midfield we could be a decent team.

I must admit I'm edging towards the 'anyone but Emery' camp

and having Mourinho here would at least be interesting, and may halt the slide into general apathy felt by a lot of fans, and some of the players, it would seem

He has some of the strongest connections with players I have seen! These two always stick out to me as just rare levels... Bit like Wenger.

My distaste for Mou was rooted in affection for Wenger. However, they seem to be pals now. Still dont want him, seemed finished

End of the day, people like Raul will live or die by these decisions. Us fans just get behind the managers, until it looks utter garbage like now.

No chance of Mourinho at Arsenal, this would be open war against the fanbase. Emery's got me behind him until the management convinces the right candidate to join. I don't want us to end up in chaotic sacking cycles.

Raul, Vinai, Edu keep Unai, sack Unai, hire Jose, give Freddie a go etc.

We just watch whatever we get really. I’m just not against Jose, think he’s a good fit atm - get us in the CL, get us competing in the CL, finish top 4 etc, would feel like we are back. Atm it still feels we’re a 2 rate club.

If it was announced that Jose was getting the job some people would be wound up a bit but then would accept it almost immediately. I doubt there'd be protests or anything like that. Especially if performances under Emery don't improve people will end up getting behind Mourinho should he get the job.

I personally want us to start acting like a big club again and Mourinho with proper backing gives us back a bit of an aura.

Is there one manager who will unite the fan base? Klopp would.

Arteta won’t, Freddie won’t, Mourinho won’t, Howe won’t, Rodgers won’t, Tuchel might etc.

Makes sense that the same people who worship Wenger would want Jose here.

Just invest in the Jurassic Park boxset you dinosaur-loving weirdos. It’s not 2004 any more.
You said the same when we wanted Arteta you weirdo.

United Mourinho would be treated like a god here.

I am genuinely puzzled that some are advocating Jose to take over the manager's position at AFC. We really have short memories, don't we?
The dude is a despicable human being, in addition to that, his football philosophy is totally opposite to what Arsenal football is or should be about. Hopefully the current management crew will not make that mistake. The dude is toxic.
