Watching him against Bordeaux. Game almost over. Koscielny had to go off early, looked like his achilles is still causing him trouble.
Saliba looks very promising. Very calm and composed, good one against one and obviously with all the physical qualities needed.

His manager, Claude Puel, called him his best player today. Even criticized the club for selling their young best players and replacing them with older ones.

Always nice to hear :)

Should have kept him at the club instead of loaning him back. He wouldn’t have been worse than Luiz and Mustafi even if he isn’t ready yet.

Or he Emery would've finished his career us before it started. Let him get valuable game time and come here next summer under, hopefully, a new manager.

He's performing very well, can't wait till the start of next season when he makes a couple of mistakes and this forum turn on him like with every young player because, shock horror, young players aren't always consistent and Saliba especially coming into a new league will have lulls. It's also why I'm not ok with this idea that he should be a guaranteed starter.
