Mate, let's all laugh at Tottenham!

Must be some good drugs... Great Heritage?

Can't laugh at them, they've done what our team doesn't have the guts to do and attempt to turn the ship.

Kind of looks like Mourinho tried to get a few jobs using his agent, including us, and Sp**s was the one to bite. Bit further down the list though.

They’ve obviously been in contact with him over the international break.

But this is how a top club acts in the modern game. A manager who doesn’t meet the ambitions of the board in one season is sacked when it becomes clear he won’t achieve them this year.

It’s not by seeing a manager fail to meet minimum expectation one season, set a low bar the following season through results and squad disharmony, and then keep him until summer in the hope of a miracle he may scrape those minimum expectations
A top club wins trophies, a top club is a club people throughout the world check out to see what they're doing. I struggle to find any way of shoe-horning Tottenham into any vague definition of top club.

In this case it is the board who do not match the ambitions of the manager as will be abundantly shown during the next two transfer windows and when Mourinho leaves trophyless, probably in less than two seasons.

Praising a headless chicken (in this case a headless ****) for running around like a headless chicken is bizarre. It's what they do. Panic.

I think it's an interesting move. Poch and the team had clearly stagnated, which happens and doesn't necessarily indicate that Poch was a bad manager and/or that the squad wasn't decent. You saw the same thing happen at Dortmund with Klopp, and you'd be mental to suggest Klopp isn't a top manager.

There was a good manager available and they decided to make a move sooner rather than later. Making a move now at least gives them a decent idea of his immediate impact before getting into a major summer transfer window, allowing them to adjust their support accordingly.

Sp**s have top players. They were lacking the final killer touch in their mentality to win a trophy. Love or hate him, Mourinho is a serial winner.
He will transform them into FA Cup winners before it all falls apart.

this regression already started last season, masked by a fluke cl run and their competitors being even worse in the league.. They were no longer playing to their potential for various reasons so I see why they let Poch go. Easier to change the manager than the whole team.
