Xhaka and Torreira worked well last season. Hope Özil is centre and not shifted to the wing again. That would be a waste. Still we should smash Brighton.

Maybe

You're wrong, no?
Looks like there's no way we are ever going to see Martinelli, Auba, Pepe and Özil attack with double pivot behind all of that.
Our managers like to make it hard for themselves so if their pragmatic tactics win a point here and there everyone will think they are tactical geniuses.

When does Auba start getting pissed at playing on the flank? Surely he has to at some stage.
When they get sacked, the board just needs to reduce the amount of crap they are willing to take from new managers.
I'm sure somewhere in the world there is a manager willing to work for Arsenal who would just play normal line up

The thing is there was some positive signs offensively vs Norwich, why would Freddie completely change it? We're going with a similar setup to Sunday with a few changes to try and improve things defensively. It's really not that confusing.

When he learns how to hold up the ball, brings others into play etc. Until then it doesn't matter where he starts as we only need him for the final touch. He can make his runs from the wing, his scoring rate is pretty much same whether he starts central or wide.

Tbh Kolasinac was fantastic against Norwich so you can see why he’s kept his place. I genuinely feel like LB is the most secure spot in our squad in terms of talent and depth.

Shame about Auba out wide. Wanna see him through the middle full time- I feel if Laca isn’t at it today he’ll find himself on the bench. Freddie has already been ruthless with Saka and Mustafi.

people want to see our best 4 offensive players without knowing that Auba would be waste on wings and Pepe looked haven't settled
