Realistically we should be throwing everything at Allegri to come in and win the Europa League. That's our only chance of CL football next season. Just a shame Allegri bottles European finals.

We should. And hopefully we get a really good one. The difficulty is we are building from a position of weakness. What top centre back will come here?
Top centreback may be out of reach but not hard to get an upgrade on Sideshow bob and slabhead

We'll be the first Championship team to be playing in Europe

Didn’t watch a minute of the game, but if I had my post match analysis would be something like:

wE jUsT neDe A mAnAGEr wHO WiLL StarT Özil!11!
Shows that you didn’t see the match as Özil created the only goal

The problem are the others as I’ve said for some time now but you people were convinced it was all because of Özil.

Not down to Emery. Wenger left the team in decline. Emery wasn't good enough to reverse it.
Freddie fell back on Wenger's belief in youth, playing Willock when recent evidence has been he's not ready or not good enough.

Who would've known a guy who has 26 games as U23 manager with a points average of 1.65, 19 games as Andries Jonker's assistant, some other youth games, in less than 3 years in coaching, with absolutely zero pedigree and no trophies in those areas would also be out of his depth as first team manager? It's all fair and well for maybe another game, but at least then a proper manager should be brought in. And this isn't even judging on Ljungberg overall. Who knows: Give him the U23s again, some Championship club, and in 5 or 6 years time he'll be a proper manager.

There is a reason why managerial novices don't usually start their career at a big club. This was always the most likely outcome with Ljungberg.

People still are clamouring for Arteta, another novice who apart from a few complimentary words from people he has worked with, some "feeling" or "just has that aura", there is no evidence he would do any better.
