Mikel Arteta: Top Of The Klopps

Press-conference was as good as it gets. Very positive first sighting as a new head coach. His conviction was the main highlight.

Yeah, it's everyone's fault but Özil's that he's so ****.

Low, Wenger and Emery are to blame for not being able to get Özil to play well. Arteta will be totally different and will be the manager with the skeleton key that unlocks Özil's magic. He'll make him not stroll round the pitch with his hands on his waist and not regularly get muscled off the ball with ease. Can't wait.
Löw, Wenger? No, he has played brilliantly under these managers. The problem was Emery and his negative football. Creating a great team means maximising the potential of your best players, Emery didn't do that and Arteta seems ready to at least work on that.

What you talking about? Özil played some of his best football under Arsène and is a German legend (regardless of naysayers), only Unai had beef.

Have to say that press conference and his interview on Arsenal.com was hugely impressive. You can see how deeply he’s thought about the culture of this club and how it needs to change, love it.

I just had this image of Ancelotti waffling on about some bull crap for half an hour and we’d have been non the wiser.....pleased it’s Mikel now. Proof is in the performance of course but this is the first time in a while I’m excited about the potential future for this great club

And a German legend that was heckled and booed by fans into retirement.

That interview was everything I wanted to hear. He was clear, analytical, disciplined and passionate. Mikel seems to have a unequivocal understanding of where we are, and where he wants to take the club.

He can certainly talk the talk, if he can walk the walk too, well this seems an excellent signing.

Would you really expect him to say anything else tho?
