It's just sad to see how CBSs and CDMs have no awareness of positioning. I understand that CBs protect the middle of the penalty box but when the offense is in counter attack and short in man when doing so, the CBs do not stand and protect the blank space in the penalty area, maybe one CB protects middle to prevent any possible error in case but the attack is coming from the left Luiz was supposed to get closer the player and build a wall in front of the attacking player. Also, Torreira has lack of IQ in reading the game, as well as speed, and size. He should have not been caught out of possession. He is the CDM. He has to provide the first coverage for CBs.

Not only that the Arsenal players aren't good enough but they have no clue about what, where, and how they are supposed to do their run. You want to break their pressing game? The defensive players has to be more mobile, run to an empty space, quickly receive and push the ball on in a different direction if necessary. By staying in the same position, you limit yourself while not providing options for your teammate to pass back because your coverage stays with you. At least, the offensive players of the opponent will be tired and not be able to do much even if they recover the ball.
