Adebayor was the least clinical CF I've ever seen at arsenal, up there with Danny welbeck. Missed so many sitters. However in saying that his overalls play was very good. great find from Wenger.
Welbeck knocked United out of the FA Cup atleast, Adebayor was worse. Yaya Sanogo tops all though, never seen a premier league player dribble and control a ball worse than sunday leaguers.

Attitude was much better today tbf and he worked really hard to get back and defend, glad he grabbed the goal.

People talk about his attitude, but Auba's supposed bad attitude is made to look absolutely joyous by Thierry on an average day. Yeah, he's Henry, but Auba's still scoring goals despite apparently being an arsehole. Him and Leno are literally the only players doing their jobs consistently.

In all fairness, last few games he looked like he genuinely couldn't care, and sometimes you think why should he when he has to put up with the sh*t around him. Must be difficult.

We'll have to replace him soon, and you can guarantee whoever we replace him with won't be able to supply the goals he does.

If he gets shipped in January I'd genuinely fear relegation. Where we getting goals from? Saka, Özil, Nelson and Laca? Unless Laca's firing, that is as ice cream dildo-like as you can get. Watching those will be like getting bukkaked by a bunch of pensioners at an acute impotency clinic.

Agreed, I said it before but if he 'wanted' to sign a new contract and we could get rid of some dross to free wages I wouldn't be against it.

He's got probably 2/3 years left of getting 20+ goals.

However if he doesn't just get what money we can for him.

Why aren’t we talking about the fact our captain and leading scorer has just handed in a transfer request????????????

Why would we? It's basically tradition at Arsenal.

Fabregas, Henry, Van Persie, Koscielny, Xhaka and now Auba. Its unprecedented at any club.

Because some **** source says so?

Besides, when Cesc and RvP made a transfer request it was bad. These players are all replaceable. PEA is a world class poacher but nothing more. It's not like Messi is leaving.

He’s the reason were not in the relegation zone.

Do people not think this further messes up our plans and Mikel too.

More drama to deal with.

So who we gonna replace his goals with we can sign in January?

Im all ears.

Some seriously deluded people here thinking a player as good as Auba will want to come here with the state the club is in.

Relax, we aren't selling him. He's too valuable. Might get us to 11th and an FA Cup quarter final.

If you get a good offer, sell him. No reason to plan for the future with players who don't have buy-in for the future.

Use the money to fill some of the holes the team has in defense and midfield, see out the season with Lacazette and Nketiah, and get a new striker in the summer.

And who will magically score these goals that are keeping us in 12th place just above the relegation zone?

Laca ? Come on. This is serious.

We could easily be sucked into a relegation battle especially if we sell our only goal outlet.

Madness.

He's our best player, but between Laca, Martinelli and Pepe, we have enough goals until we find a proper replacement.

Despite how well he's done here, if he wants to leave- sell. We'd get our money back and more.

Kills our chances of Europa League glory though.

How many goals has pepe and martinelli scored this season?
Add an off form Laca in and its not pleasant reading.
