A video going through some of our failed transfer attempts, so a word of warning don't believe anything until it's official. Tho judging by some of these, don't believe anything until they're on the pitch.

Bar the ridiculousness of summer 2013, so glad we didn’t sign any of the rest!

Sahin was terrible at Liverpool, and with the midfielders we already had he wouldn’t have been a good fit for us, think he is a good player but not for England.

No thank you to Dudek too...Seaman was still quality, and we got Jens a few seasons later, both better than Jerzey.

Trabelshi was good on video games, don’t think he was that good in real life, didn’t he end up at ****ing Birmingham not long after this Lauren was already at the club and Eboue was a better replacement, both were better than Hatem.

As for Lemar, no words really needed here...if that had happened at that price, it would have been a disaster for the club!

Yeah true, perhaps Wenger's caution has proven to be correct on a number of times. Especially given our financial circumstances, some clubs can afford to sign a few flops.

Sahin was a weird one because where would he have played? Sahin-Arteta wouldn't have been a good balanced partnership as their too similar. In any case Ramsey would prove that we didn't need Sahin as he and Arteta formed a good solid partnership in the latter half of the 12/13 season which saw us go on an unbeaten run to snatch top 4 from Sp**s once again.

Rodgers didn’t manage Sahin very well though. Used him mostly as an attacking mid when he’s always been better suited and far more effective as a deep lying playmaker.

Eboue was largely useless btw.

January will only ever mean acquiring an out of favour player (Lemar, Rabiot or Boateng), a young player who needs minutes (Nketiah, ESR), or over paying massively to secure a player that will improve you (70m for Upamecano or Zaha).

Best we can hope for is loaning an out of favour player, who an add something to us, as we will not over pay in January.
