I got BT/ESPN, they show 4/5 games every weekend. I’ll watch the odd game/highlights.

Joke league.
Nah the Bundesliga is the best league in Europe overall. Not controlled by TV money, the highest attendances in Europe by far, easily the best atmospheres in the top 5 leagues, the games are entertaining and unpredictable. Also the most opportunities for youth and bringing through new players.

Unlike all the other major leagues, the fans actually matter, see what happened when they tried to make Monday night games a thing. Yeah the quality of the players may not match La liga or PL, but I'll take all the other positives over that.

Even our 2. Bundesliga attracts more attendees than some other top flights. HSV, VfB, etc. regularly attract 50.000 and more people for home games - in a second division.

FFS! Bayern look the best team once again. They are gonna walk the league from now.
Terrible take, they've put out these performances several times this season but also played rubbish inbetween. Watch them drop points against the likes of Hoffenheim or Freiburg now

Dusseldorf have binned Funkel, 3 weeks after giving him a contract extension and about 12 hours after pulicy congratulating him on winning Dusseldorf coach of the year

Hopefully the team get the new manager bounce, but it's hard to see anyone coming in who is better than Funkel.

That's doom for them. Funkel was their guy. Made them overperform last season and for good stretches of this one. If you look at their team, there's absolute no denying they are not strong enough and they would start to struggle eventually - if you think otherwise that's bonkers. Firing Funkel was so stupid. That Lutz Pfannenstiel DoF of theirs is such a muppet.
