Ornstein said in the infamous Kurzawa article that we tried to get a cm, a lb and a cb. It seems like we will go for the good old "internal solutions" by moving AMN to the midfield and replace him behind Bellerin with Soares and keeping Saka at left back.

So your no.1 source got one out of three correct.

Think Southampton are being clever here, bring in KWP for the rest of the year on loan and then bring in Frimpong from @bingobob ’s boys with the Cédric money next summer who they’ve been linked to

Another player we should be after, Southampton will quadruple their spend on him in a few years time. Kind of deals we used to do.

The truth is that we don't have any cover for Bellerin. AMN is awful as RB and Chambers is more CB and currently injured. If he comes with low salary, I am absolutely fine with it. Of course, the best scenario was to find someone younger with higher potential, but you cannot aim so high in the Winter window.
We aren't selling bellerin anytime soon he our starter for years to come unless his performance drop down massively so add a decent fullback in peak of his career is good business

I wonder if Arteta asked AMN if he was willing to fight for the RB role and he said no?

Seems sensible, cant be be throwing money at a backup right back really in our situation and it's no Lichsteiner move.

Thing is, Ornstein said in his tweet:

"Arsenal could make 1 more loan signing before deadline."

So Cedric wouldn't fit into this.

AMN is not RB he being forced to play there.

You say that but he has played that position significantly more than anywhere else in his professional career now, by accident or not it's been his breakout position. He may regret wanting to play elsewhere, especially as like many youngster before him at Arsenal doesn't seem to actually be able to decide what he even is.
