Last I saw, Milik was linked with Juventus.
Makes no sense going for Milik over Edouard who would be the same price. If not less.
I think they have slightly different styles though, no? Maybe it depends what sort of striker you want. Milik is better in the air, good technically but not blisteringly quick, whereas Edouard seems to be good at making quick runs and finishing but isn't strong in the air yet. Both look like they'd suit the PL tbh.

I don't think there is doubt over Edouard. Pace, power, dribbling, both feet, vision and cool head in front of goal. Primary set piece taker for penalties and free kicks. He literally has everything you need in a centre forward.
Its really hard to see him being a flop.
Replacing auba with Milik is bit depressing nothing against Milik he is good striker but no where close to auba level
It's a pretty good record, yeah. But then Lacazette has pretty much an identical record in the PL for us, and as far as I can tell AM hates Lacazette and thinks he's a useless bum...

If you're trying to replace Auba with Milik then yes, you're getting a lesser player. But if the idea is to replace Lacazette with Milik then you'd have to say the quality is about the same, albeit Laca assists more.

Dont really like how streaky Miliks goals are & game more suited to Italy.
The standard of these strikers linked is pretty dire. Think we will aim higher if Auba & Laca off or just stick with Laca. Its the vital position with few goals coming from the other players.

There is no elite striker available anyway Only Warner the best of bunch but he not 30 goals a season striker.

I am happy with keeping Laca and Auba. Laca obv could be improved upon but still good. Ditch Özil and let Laca play like a second striker behind aupa, deploy marinelli/saka on the left and Pepe on the right.

People hating on Laca and think he's a bum but want us to replace him with a striker from the Serie A who is just about the same level with Laca, but plays in an inferior league.
Hope we get Milik just to see the meltdown on here when he starts giving us below Laca's output

Some people want us to strip the squad during the rebuild. But I think we have to keep players like Auba to help us through the transition period. We don't want to have our pants around our ankles when our rivals growing strong.
Hopefully in a couple of years he'll pass the baton to Martinelli and Eddie.
We don't need a new striker. We just need Auba and possibly Laca here long enough to guide Marty and Eddie through
