if any team will spend like 50M on Coutinho they'll still ask barca to pay 50% of his wages or Coutinho be a nice guy and take big paycut.

Even for £50M the club shouldn't touch him, if he flops we're stuck paying another dud big wages because he'll have zero resale value. The club should be smart and go for Buendia - younger, at least half the price and far lower wage demand. Coutinho would just be another example of Kia bending the club over and shafting us.

What would be an example of Kia doing something nice for us?

Don't want him. Would just be desperation for a club like us. Wrong profile, wrong age, wrong price.

There's no shortcuts. Why would we want the pain of midtable if we are just going to **** the bed and go looking in the bargain basement bin for has beens and never weres. Go buy good footballers under 25 years old! Tierney, Ceballos, Saliba, Saka, AMN, Bellerin, Nelson, Pepe, Martinelli add to them

More often than not the wages of the loan player will come out of the immediate transfer budget, hence why they get added to any loan fee to make a round number. The wages of a contracted player are coming out of a more general budget.

Simple stuff, don’t know why it’s winding you up.
Fair enough in terms of liquidity. In terms of value TCO should be considered imo

Coutinho to Barca was a ridiculous purchase which was never going to work out, they paid a ridiculous fee to shoehorn a player into LW, then they did the same with Griezmann.

If you include the Dembélé signing, that's 345 million euros spent in quest to find a replacement for Neymar. Absolute madness. All this and the best replacement may end up being a youth product in Ansu Fati.
