Omg just looked this up sounds amazing

China/Hong Kong (and all East Asia tbh) have got f*cking killer directors

Wong Kar wai
Jia Zhangke
Park Chan Wook
Tsai Ming Liang (!!!)
Hou Hsiao-hsien
Edward Yang (RIP)

Whewwww don't get me started
Have you seen Yi'nan Diao's two films? Black coal, thin ice and last year's The wild goose lake?
They're both in the neo noir/crime drama category and have knockout cinematography. I enjoyed both, but the first one is the stronger film for sure.
I'm a big fan of koreean cinema as well. I've seen a ton of their films.

@14Henry you're so reactionary.

I like Willian but admittedly 3 years is too long. 2 years would be a fantastic signing. He would add a lot to us next season thats for sure and wages aren't a problem going into next year with around 50m a year worth coming off the bill.

He isnt signing for 2 years. Hes signing for 3 if he signs. So while 2 years is ok 3 years isnt. Why pay 130-140k to someone who realistically doesnt have a great deal to offer over his contract.

Like handing Auba a 6 year contract just because we think we can get 3 decent years out of him.

Is Willian the type of player that is going to make us look like a serious club and be something that says to Auba we mean business.

Wasnt sold on Countinho but I'd rather that deal every day of the week.

I thought Willian is 10M/year? Therefore 3 years = 30M. Although I could be totally off here.

Regarding Couts, I read that Barca were willing to subsidize his wage?

Last time I heard reports were £120k pw which is acceptable ie about £17m for 3 years. I think some are just winding others up with £300k pw.

My view is that £17m over 3 years is a very good deal for us. People point to his penalties but he had 8 assists too. For less than £6m per yr we cant get that anywhere else. Most importantly it leaves us with the majority of our budget to spend where it really matters ie CB & Partey!

I just checked and he's on 7,2 mil according to Google. My bad, he'd be less than Coutinho for 2 years, not 3.
As for Coutinho's wages, he's on 13 mil at Barca and the talk was that they're willing to pay 50% of them, but the club taking him on loan would have to also pay another 10 mil.

If he starts and performs well it is. However who's position does he take. If pepe is first choice we are paying 6-7m a year for a squad player. We can get that type of player a lot cheaper than 130/140k a week.

Does anybody know how Old Pirlo was when he signed for Juventus.

Go and research it.

Whether you guys like it or not, get used to the idea of Willian signing. He's a (MUCH) better version of Iwobi and we miss a creative ball carrier.

Also why are people under some sort of weird impression you're automatically useless when you reach 30?

PEA, Santi, Per, Bergkamp, Parlour, Adams, Bould,Dixon, Winterburn etc all great in the 30s.

Defenders at 30+ are usually ok. Wingers who rely on speed and movement not so much. There is a reason there are very few elite wingers performing at the top at 33/34. Robben probably was still decent but he was a much better player than Willian ever was

Pirlo was a completely different player. Similar to Xavi. Similar to David Silva. Never relied on physical ability. Didnt have to run too much. Had runners around him and he just controlled the game from deeper positions. He didnt have to make lung busting runs and track flying fullbacks.

Looking for other positives, will be nice to have a right footed free kick specialist

Not on a free, thats why this is a good deal. To get a player with his PL experience and input you'd have to spend far more than his 3 years of wages just on the fee!

Seen it when it came out and really enjoyed it. One of the better zombie movies.
Just today some guy posted a review of Peninsula, the sequel to Train to Busan, on reddit and he said what I felt when watching the trailers.

There are a few reviews from critics online and they're not so great.
There's also a prequel that's an animated movie called Seoul Station and it's a more grim story than the smash hit that was Train.

Are you familiar with Hong Jin-Na's filmography? All killer, no filler. The wailing is his masterpiece and The chaser is one of the best crime thrillers I've seen.
