With ceballos, partey, aouar don't see where xhaka fits in to this.

He’d still be starting above Ceballos for me. It’s clear he’s won the trust of successive managers.

If Torreira and Elneny go that’s only five midfielders if you include Willock, Partey and Aouar. We have a lot of games this year so plenty of minutes for everyone.

Xhaka has to be rested more often. The guy goes 50 games a year no problem without injuries but his performances do dip when he's barely had a rest.

Yeah if we get Partey and Aouar we can finally rotate without dropping in quality and spread the minutes evenly.

Wouldn’t hate a loan for Willock seen as you could have both Saka and AMN cover midfield at a pinch as a fifth option.

Also would be tempted to keep Elneny about seen as he’s probably fine with a bench role and filling in here and there.

Think Joe needs to be playing every week at this stage of his career.

Willock loan just makes sense.Honestly, wouldn't mind El Neny as an additional body. Just takes Willock's squad place from last season. Provided we get more bodies in that position.

Out of Willock,ESR and Nelson. 2 out of 3 should go on loan, preferably PL loans. Nelson maybe in January once Martinelli's back.

If Willock goes on loan we are one injury away from having no midfield subs. I feel like we need 5-6 midfielders to rotate, with 4 getting the majority of minutes.

I like Aouar, and IF we did manage to sign him I'd be excited and think he'd give us a lot. However think it's worth mentioning that he's not the most creative of midfielders in terms of his final ball which is very hit or miss. And even this season hasn't created or assisted a huge amount of chances in a weaker league.
But the fact he's only 22 means his potential is huge. Great dribbler and would be another very good footballer in the middle with Ceballos next season. Will hopefully give us more control in the midfield.

Yeah so you’d have Partey, Xhaka, Ceballos, Aouar, Elneny and then Saka or AMN if things get really desperate.

Wait, do people actually think we'll be signing both Partey and Aouar?

Are you forgetting which club you support?

Because Arteta is showing a lot of ambition and it looks likes he has the club support. We've been ruthless so far. Who would have thought we would have gone for Gabriel when we already had so many CB in the squad ?
It's clear to me now that both Artera and Edu have a plan over the next few seasons. Everything they're doing makes sense so far. (except the Mari deal meh). A thing that we missed for years under previous regimes.

If we manage to sell Bellerin (€40M) torreira (30M) and guendouzi (30M) then both are obtainable.

No other club seems to be interested in Aouar this summer because of the lack of cash and city fully focusing on Messi and koulibaly.
If we don't get him this summer, we'll never sign him.

It makes sense tbf. But everything will depend on the outgoings. My guess is that we gonna activate partey's clause when Hector leaves, and then if we manage to get rid of torreira and guendouzi we'll go for Aouar. A deal that won't be hard to get it done since lyon îs a selling club and in desperate need for cash, and not many clubs are in for him this summer.

Wait and see. But if we do sign both, this summer would be perfect. Bar a catastrophic season for an odd reason, top 4 should be easy to get. And thus more incomes. And we won't have to invest much next summer.

Even if Arsenal sign Aouar and Partey, top 4 won't be easy to get. Final 2 spots will be battled between 5 teams. Man U and Chelsea will be serious competitors. Arsenal getting top 4 will be earned, not given.

If we bring in Partey and Auoar, no doubt we'll have a massive spending spree but that will be balanced/offset next summer where we might need very little reinforcements

If we get CL next year and have a strong season this year, with the amount of money saved on wages due to players leaving we can honestly look to bring in some of the top bracket players.

Genuine talking the Haalands and Sanchos.

A lot depends on us keeping Aubameyang and him staying fit too. If either doesn’t happen, we’re going to struggle badly for goals. Can no longer afford to have a CF playing just to mark an opponent’s DM and we need Pepe to be more direct.
