Xhaka and Ceballos a big disappointment this half. Back to old sins both of them. Dani taking a million touches and clinging to the ball and Xhaka is just slow. Granit has had several misplaced passes and was poor at the goal. Should have pressed Bowen earlier to let Kola concentrate on Fredericks.
No goal if Xhaka does his job.

I thought everyone did their job on WHU goal except Xhaka. He has to run harder and close the ball down earlier. He put everyone under pressure. Very frustrating to see him running at a fast jog. If he does his job then Kola doesn't need to play both ball and runner. He would have blocked the cross or made the angle impossible in that case.

That being said, the West Ham players created an excellent team goal with a really difficult finish.
Was gulity of ball-watching as well but there were bigger culprits in the defensive effort.

Its the midfield, Saka and Xhaka and Kola were no where they should have been which made it easy for west ham to counter.

I’ll have to watch the goal again but my first thought was that Holding could’ve done better and the whole team was caught too far up field. Didn’t look like something to blame on one player.
