Don't see anything wrong with attempting to shift some of the players we don't want to them to reduce cash outlay and get a player we do want. You don't ask, you don't get

As someone rightly said before, Atletico hold all the cards here.
We can try but any team with an ounce of sense will realise they hold all the cards whilst we’re holding a pair of gone off kippers. Questionable strategy from us once again wasting our window chasing an unobtainable player.

Edu needs to answer some serious questions if we agree to loan Torreira to Atletico without an obligation to buy and fail to sign Partey

Interviewer: Serious question, why did you loan Torreira to Atletico?

Edu: Because he accepted only Atletico as a destination, he has 3 years in contract and we have way too big squad.

Interviewer: Ok.

Looks like €7m loan fee with €25m obligation to buy, so €32m total. Great deal for a player who doesnt fit in with Artetaball.

Echo what others are saying, that a straight loan is worse than a loan with an option. The odds are pretty high of Torreira having a good season under Simeone, he's a very good player just not suited to Artetaball. If there's a lowball option to buy we might end up being fleeced.

We never know good playtime in la Liga might turn him back into 18/19 Torreira.

Lol at stating it as fact, are you Edu?
Hilarious how fans always think they know what's going on behind the scenes just based on reports from people who are mostly just guessing themselves.
it's the new maxim - don't believe anything until you see it on Twitter
