The quality of football needs to improve. We’ve scored some beautifully constructed moves under Arteta but we’re looking a lot like safety first. Which is pretty much the opposite of what Arteta said he wanted to do when he came in.

I understand we aren’t blessed with the best technical bunch but we have enough quality to create more chances. It seems we barely shoot. Need to up it.

We can carry one of them in our front 6, but playing all three is asking for a turgid display like this.

One of those games where we just need to muscle it over the line, but this is not sustainable against the bottom half... over a season.

It is what it is though, relying on Luiz and Ceballos to provide creativity, and Auba being the only true goal threat.
