Is it possible the beast defending of Partey can compensate for the lack of Özil defending giving us some creativity in attack? More for the teams that sit back ofcourse

Being reminded that Lacazette is still a starter here does bring the mood down quite a bit.

Özil is done here. Forget about him because you probably won’t even see him on the bench this season.

Been a shocking window btw.

Not good at all but with covid and an owner than don't even know he own the club I don't think we can expect any more.

We just have to thank god for what we have and pray he will be there to catch us by sending elite doctors when our hearts fails after years of supporting Arsenal!

For those interested in exArsenal man Sven Mislintat: He's successfully spearheading VfB Stuttgart renaissance.

Managed to almost completely overhaul that team that got relegated in 18/19 before his time. There's only 8 players left: Oldies Castro and Didavi who are unmoveable, the third GK, 4th choice CB, a unmoveable brazilian LB who's not needed, Erik Thommy, and Nico Gonzalez and Orel Mangala, two standout young performers he's managed to keep this summer despite interest from e.g. Leeds and Lyon.

He build a whole new team by bringing in a few solid players in their "best age" - mid twenties - like Anton, Foerster, Klement, Al Ghaddioui, and then betting massively on young talent. And boy did he deliver.

Mateo Klimowicz, Mo Sankoh, Clinton Mola, Darko Churlinov, Sasa Kalajdzic, Kobel, Mavropanos and a proper host of highly rated french talent: Silas Wamangituka, Tanguy Coulibaly, Momo Cissé and now on deadline day got Naouirou Ahamada from Juventus who's been compared to a young pogba.

And the best thing is: It's starting to work out. The team's got a whole new face and mentality, he's really changed the identity of the team. Coulibaly, Mola, Klimowicz, Kalajdzic, Silas are all delivering. Mangala and Gonzalez are still at the club.

Mislintat is definitely a "diamond eye" and he knows what he's doing rebuilding this Stuttgart team. Last season after his first summer and then the sacking of Tim Walter you knew what he was trying to do but it still looked a bit dodgy here and there, now with new coach Matarazzo he seems to have found a good partner and with the development of talents last season and few additions this summer the ideas on which this rebuild is based are really starting to manifest.

Arsenal should've never let that guy go. Better for Stuttgart, though.
