It’s time we show we are the best fans in Uk and break the Ppv record. Let’s make sure this become the norm. Everyone pay you 15 poind

Or show the PL that even games like this don’t deserve costing £15.

I’d rather stream it illegally and donate the fee to a charity like other fans have been doing.

I like most of your rant but as someone who grew up being abe to watch half an hour of lighlights (from the entire top division) a week and didn't see an Arsenal game live on television till I was 15, I welcome the chance to pay for a game if it means I can watch Arsenal play. Only problem is I'm normally overseas when I'm not at the stadum so doesnt work for me.
I take what you're saying but technology has moved onto a point where you can watch all the games you want. People abroad have a much lower price point for more content than people get in the UK.

And then we have this blatant opportunism across the Premier League. A league that has shunted fans across the country for late kick offs with zero regard for the fans themselves and the expenses they incur. And they done so because really the clubs don't need the fan money it's the TV money and that comes first. And now suddenly without fans they're filling that vacuum with £15 PPV singular games. Even though clubs didn't really need fans and the clubs have banked season book and TV money.

Its a bloody disgrace. Forking out £40 pm for Sky, £25 for BT isn't enough. They want 15 quid extra for individual l games. Of course the argument is they wouldn't be on TV anyway. Its a crap argument. Ordinarily people could go out and basically all non broadcast games would be 3pm kick offs. People would stick on a radio or soccer Saturday, congregate in bars or with friends, socialise, enjoy themselves. The situation has changed drastically for fans and rather than help fans they price gouge us further.

Meanwhile I can get a WWE network pass for £10 per month which includes tons of content, if I live in the USA I can get an NFL season pass for $120 and a Premier League pass for $4.99 per month. What they are doing is incredibly selfish and short sighted.

@bingobob we just have to hope people don't actually pay for it.

It's failed the Netflix test so I can't see it- but watching your club is a drug so maybe the Burnley/Villa fans are actually paying. I hope not.

They have kept the statistics secretive but I would love to see the numbers.

I think the fact they are keeping it so secretive tells its own story.

I know a lot of United fans and one of them bought their game the other night. He said everyone he knew rounded on him, people I know from one side and friends of his who I didn't know. He has since vowed not to buy any more as it was a collective universal condemnation. Telling that these guys wouldn't miss a match either but they except one opted out. Small antedodal evidence of coiurse but if that's in anyway replicated on a larger scale they may actually be losing money.

I would pay £15 to watch an Arsenal game, hell I pay £2,500 for my two season tickets!

£15 per game affects the football fan who wants to see a lot of football, I respect that and understand their plight, but for me to watch my team £15 is nothing. The bus and a couple of beers alone will cost me that.

This is an excellent point regarding coverage in the USA. I pay $65 a month for my streaming service, which includes about what I used to get with “cable,” and I pay $6 a month for NBC’s premium service. The quality of the premium broadcasts has been suspect so far, but I’m not paying anywhere near what a fan in the UK is paying. I should stop complaining to my friends, huh?
*And I get to watch our Europa League matches en Español, which helps me brush up on a language I should be able to speak better.

Leicester are horrible at the moment, no real shots on goal so they would have to hope for a couple penalties.

This all changes if Madders starts and gets 80 mins or more which is likely.

Barnes with his poor finishing might be on target too but he is a complete random factor you just never know with him.

Hope you are right and we come away with 3 points. We really need that. Would absolutely love if we can have a statement game and really bury them by 3 or more goals! A 3-0 or a 4-1 with their goal coming in late overtime thanks to one of Vardy’s dives for a pen... Would give me everything. Happiness over a good performance + I can complain over PL refs and Vardy! Two of my favorite past times...

Id rather donate the money to charity. Personal I'd be embarrassed if we broke the record. And I'd be embarrassed for anyone that pays it. They are completely out of touch of reality and national sentiment.

Football fans need to unite against this. Just as fans united against away ticket prices, just as fans need to unite to demand more democratic control of clubs, to unite against European closed shop league pipe dreams. We need common purpose against every method that serves to further exclude and marginalise the life blood of football, fans for the benefit of wealthy owners.
If our fans were principled they would have boycotted when our prices were going out of hand. Knowing Arsenal they will pay. We are one of the biggest reasons prices are out of control and I hope for once our fans stand up for football. I would never pay it and anyone who does is not a real football fan

As a replacement for actually going to the stadium £15 is obviously peanuts. But for fans that watch on the small screen £15 for one game is ridiculous.

Leno
Bell Luiz Gab KT
Ceb Partey Xhaka
Pepe Pea Saka

This should be Mikel’s endgame. On paper all our best players are in this line-up. Can he get the best out of them though?

So, fans in the UK pay £45 per month for Sky Sports, plus £20 for BT and then you have Amazon Prime that airs games too for like £10. So you could be paying up £75 a month for football but still not get all the matches you want and now you have to pay £15.
100% you should be boycotting this. In a pandemic and global recession, football for many is an escape but they want more money? F*ck that. Remember fans voice and their wallets matter. If enough people avoid this, they will lower the prices to something more affordable. £15 and I thought cinema tickets were pricey. I can go watch a new film and an adult ticket for about £7 but I should watch my football club in my own home for £15. Nope not for me.

Moved to UK two years back. This is just atrocious pricing. Have only been streaming all the time. In India, for an equivalent of £10 per year, I got a streaming service(Hotstar) for official streaming of all premier league matches, many cricket matches, many movies and tv shows(including GoT) and plenty of regional content too. UK providers are robing the customers.
