We have 3 quality CBs in Gabriel, Holdini, and Mari. A quality RB who can also do a decent job at CB in Chambers. Two promising young CBS in Saliba and Mavropanos.

Gabriel was argubably the best defender untill his suspension.
Holding has been very good and consistent this season.
Mari hasn't had a bad game for us yet.
Last time we had 3 cbs of this or better quality was probably the Toure, Campbell and Keown trio.

Name a trio of CBs we had since these that have played better than Gabriel, Holding and Mari. Hell even Luiz has gone from the liability he was last season to playing well this season.
True. But that was when they were a football club and not Mordor itself.

Lool stop it. Holding is an ok pl player who is in good form. Gabriel is a young talent and hopefully he develops to a top player and Mari lol I don’t even know what he is good at. If Mari and Holding was available you think a top 8 club in the league would come for them? You really think holding and Gabriel iis better than kos and per?

Holding: west ham/ newcastle level player. He can’t play a second for any other top 6 club.
Gabriel: decent but not top level defender for now.
Mari: burnley/ fulham level.
Luiz: uttershit
we don’t have any top class CB’s. Even leicester has 3 top class CB. Avarage of our defenders rank 10-13 in the league. To win the title or even to challenge we need better defenders. This Collins boy looks like a beast. Adamsesque player sign him ASAP before Liverpool get him.

And yet we have the 4th fewest goals conceded in the Premiership and played more games than those who have conceded fewer than us.
We have been utterly dire at times this season but on the whole the defence has been pretty good, credit where credit is due.

Holding probably is in tge running for our best peforming player this season behind Tierney.
We have Saliba and now that Recik guy who are young CBs, as well as Mavropanos. Signing this guy would be overkill. Think this is a nothing story.
All of the players on that list, bar Dawson and Ogbonna, are better than Mari and most probably Holding. Gomez and Matip are CL/PL winning CBs ffs.
Why do we overate our players so much?

Mari has yet to have a bad match for us since joining. How do rate him so poorly?
Holding has more clean sheets this season than Liverpool. Maguire and Lindeloff have been poor this season and error prone, are you seriously suggesting they've been better than consistent Holdini? Put some respect on his name.
Mari was shocking against Chelsea this season and City away last season before he got injured.
Holding is a decent player, but he hasn't done enough go suggest he is better than the majority of players you've listed there imo.

I thought Mari played very well against Chelsea which won inly conceding 1 goal. I dont know how you can say Mari was poor away last season against city as he went off injured at 24 minutes when it was still 0-0. Luiz came on for Mari and had a nightmare.
