They spent more but we also spent money but been used wrongly after all that money spend we still using Bellerin Elneny Holding plus few above average players like Xhaka pepe you'll go no where
Completely agree! We’ve not been savvy enough in our transfer markets

I'm seeing Burnley as our best chance of a win in that but even they won't be easy for us to break down.
All these games are close because apart from city Leicester not running away with things westham too Sp**s Liverpool as s* t as us but if we can't give ourselves a chance we'll be in bad position yet again

Arsenal probably have the most "banter" attitude in training now, such a contrast between now and Highbury.

Imagine anyone trying to have a joke with Lehmann in training, would probably end in a punch up
I honestly believe they have this attitude because they're allowed to get away with it. Was even worse under Emery. Can't imagine Ancelloti would've tolerated it.

It's fair enough being disappointed, it's never nice to lose but this has to be one of the most expected defeats of the season.

It's fine saying we were shadow boxing and largely dominated. I agree.
How aren't you going to be when your centre mid pairing is Xhaka and Elneny up against City's lot?

With the exception of 1-2 players they're just better than us all across the pitch, and by a fair margin.

Jamie Redknapp man. It’s as if the only thing that links Van Dijk, Ramos and Dias is that they high five teammates.

Can tell he’s mentally unable to talk about what makes a player great. Crayon level analysis.

More Consistent Than Arteta
I think the time has come to move Saka to #10 ....there is no other hope ....he is the only one who can play one touch. Its desperation time...put Pepe, Laca, Auba upfront...Saka and #10 and Xhaka and Partey / AnyoneFit behind to hold.

Ironically feel guys like Xhaka seem to care more.

Got my eye on Tierney now. Yeah he wears t-shirts in the cold but that was pathetic stuff. Didn’t see that ever in Wenger’s time.
Yeah, the guy who told supporters to f*ck off after his 100th horror performance, never apologized and has never been good enough for this club cares more than Tierney.

Why so serieuse?
elneny can’t and Tierney , when fit , can ....
El Neny was poor even for his standards. He usually gets the easy passes right, he was failing to make even those. And Tierney, if he's going to be injured so often, the medical team needs to find a way of bringing him back sharper. If he takes a couple of games to get up to speed then he'll probably spend most of the season off form. Cedric would've done a better job than him today. Give him a match or two in the under 23s instead of throwing him on against City.

We are just one of those little "fun" clubs now, no pressure and everyone has a good time...a manager won't change it, as the structure of the club is ****ed anyway.

Our spine when we first moved stadiums...Lehmann-Toure-Gilberto-Henry, no players/personalities like that in this team really...win at all cost types.

You see him yelling at guys more and losses do actually seem to hurt him.

Tierney and Arteta have fully adapted the mid table mentality. Lose against the big teams by a goal and job done.
