So how much can we get for Bendter, Vela, Arshavin, Denilson, Park, Chamakh and Squillaci? Surely at least 30min?

lol - that's LESS than 5m each........

Arshavin 8m, Bendtner 8m, Chamakh 6m, Vela 6m, Denilson 4m, Park 3m, Squillaci 1m, Almunia 0

Max that we can get those players.

Squillaci's contract is up isn't it? Thought it was only 2 years when he signed. Also, I'd have thought we might have to come to some settlement with Denilson to terminate his contract, does anybody seriously want him? 6m profit on Chamakh seems a little over optimistic too.

The important thing is not the transfer fees we will be getting for those players, which will be minimal. It's the massive wages their departures will free up, as well as the spots in the 25-man squad.

We're spending £250-£350k/week on players that have literally contributed nothing all season. Hopefully that will not be the case next season.

Arsenal could be tempted to part with Marouane Chamakh after receiving a £6million offer from Fiorentina.

Believe those prices are not farfetched. There are worse strikers then the likes of Chamakh and Vela being sold for 6m.

I agree and we should get somewhere near that for all of them bar maybe Denilson and Park.

I'd happily take 25 million for that lot. Maybe if we add Diaby and Lansbury we could raise 30 - 35 million for players we don't want. That would be brilliant business imo.

I'm not sure if Diaby would sell, who wants really injury prone players? Many clubs won't even gamble on the wages so we might have to hang onto him till his contract runs out in 2015. Lansbury could easily get £4m, more if we drive a hard deal considering his performances for the U21's and how Henderson can go for £16m, Conor Wickham for £10m we could get some good money off a team like Sunderland.

£8mil for Bendtner? With the wages he's on? Phat chance. We couldn't sell him last summer and his stock hasn't exactly risen since.

Half every single one of them valuations and you'll be a lot closer to the truth.

Bored today so I watched some Honda match comps from his most recent matches and i think he'd be an excellent addition. Very versatile, intelligent player and as an added bonus his free kicks are lethal.

I think it would be a brilliant piece of business.

I don't understand why no major club has gone in for him yet, though I think he was close to moving to lazio in January.

Good age, experienced international who could play in the AM position or on either wing, Wenger's a known admirer and he wouldn't be too expensive.

Assuming it IS real,
I wonder how much of this talk / conjecture re a pro-active summer (Podolski, Vertonghen etc) is down to any 'realisation' by AW,
or is it the Board/owner,
or even RVP saying 'this is what it will take for me NOT to accept 200k/week at City'.

The belief in Japan is that it's CSKA asking too much for him. They're not short of money and under no pressure to sell. I don't know how true that it.

Where does he play for Japan usually? I know he played as a striker/free role in the world cup. For CSKA i've seen him play mostly on the right, a little bit up front and now this season he's playing deep in midfield so far. And after all that it seems to me his best position would be as an AM.

The great thing about him is that he looks a natural in whatever position he's in. Even up top, you would think he might be uncomfortable there but no he does everything you want - links play cleverly but then takes up good positions and looks to get on the end of crosses and passes.

Its nuts, i'm struggling to think of a more all-round player out there. If, like i presume we're not going to spend the money on a Goetze or Hazard, then i think Honda would be the perfect signing. Probably available for around 15 million and he has everyting going for him - plays our type of football, good physique, good age, a set-piece specialist which we could do with and i'm sure the marketing team wouldn't say no as he's one of Asia's biggest stars.

He's top of my wishlist now. I think we need a technical player who can create in midfield or provide end-product in the front 3 and Honda would be perfect.

Armour have seen Honda in the Asian cup last year . He was virtually invisible for quite a few of their matches , don't know what he is like for Cska but consistency seems to be a problem only on what i have seen .
