That is one sexy team.

Thanks mate, I reckon that front four could score 80 goals a season easily. Plus we'd an attacking right-back, more height in the team from Danilo and Fellaini, and huge experience.

Exact team I was going to post, with the exception I'd probably keep Sagna and add in a young promising CB like Ogbonna to eventually take Mertesacker's place.

That team, on paper at least, is as good as any other team in the league. If we ended up with that, I'd sh*t my pants with joy.

Wouldn't necessarily have Danilo as I still hope that Sagna will stay, but when you consider we'd have the likes of Giroud, Podolski, Chamberlain, Rosicky, Arteta, Ramsey, Vermaelen, Monreal etc as squad options, we'd definitely be competing for the PL and CL.

We could buy Cesc, Higuain and Fellaini for around the £70million mark.

Country: England
I want 3 major signings (CB, CM, ST) done soon and then a little treat on transfer deadline day (GK, RB).

Get it done Arsenal or I will be forced to send you a heavily worded letter.

*drools*

Add in Begovic instead of Chesney, Sagna at his best and we would definitely win something next year.

THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS!

We'd walk the league.

With the right squad depth to enable proper squad rotation me thinks that team should be good enough to make it to the CL Final.

replace rooney with higuain and im okay with that, though i dont really rate fellaini

The thing that makes that wish list lineup so mouth watering in that all the additions would need 0 games to get used to the league....no dropped points early ----> a serious title challenge.

Higuain's ability in the PL is unknown but Rooney's, Cesc's and Fellaini's inst. That's worth the extra 15-20m we'd overpay instead of getting "cheaper" imports from other leagues like Higuain at CF over Rooney or some other midfielder than Fellaini.

With all the turnover in the PL with those around us, we can either look to establish ourselves back at the top with top quality players from the league or we could gamble and go for the cheaper imports options while City or Chelsea take the thrown and look to dominate England for the foreseeable future.

Its up to us to show just how much we want it (the PL).

I know we won't sign Rooney, Fabregas and Fellaini this summer. But if the money is there then why not go for it?

Fellaini has a release clause 22M rumored. Rooney want's to leave Man Utd, I can't see him leaving England. Who does that leave Chelsea, Arsenal and Sp**s? (Going by United not selling to City). And Fabregas if he becomes available then we should be favorites to sign him, having a first refusal on him.

But I know it's Arsenal I'm talking about and it won't never happen.

Most interesting transfer window for some time for us as a result of the money talk - regardless of the managerial merry-go-round around us.

Players linked/speculation:

ST - Huguain/Jovetic/Shrek/Villa/Aubameyang
AM - Grenier/Gourcuff(??)/Fabregas(??)
CM - Fellaini/Fabregas/Strootman/Pogba/Gonalons/Capoue
CB - Williams/Rami
GK - Cesar/Mignolet/Adler

I'd like to see:
RB options as replacements for Sagna;
CB options for TV (if he leaves & assuming Williams is cover for BFG);
WF options that are more a combo of Gervinho-Walcott-Podolksi = Lamela/Ljajic/Reus/Schurrle/Sanchez/Aubameyang/Garcia???.

If we buy a genuine top quality starting ST then I'd let Podolski go and bring in a WF can provide more variety to counter balance Walcott.
If Kos & BFG ARE the designated starting CBs then I'd let TV go and bring in a similar player to provide rotation.
If Sagna won't sign then I'd sell & replace him.
If we have the opportunity to sign a top GK who currently starts AHEAD of Szczesny (Mignolet/Adler) then IMO we should do so.

Buy
Higuain - 22m (they want 30m euros Arsenal will probably negotiate to 20-22m pounds)
Fabregas - 25m (according to Cross)
Fellaini - 24m (times, goal)
Keep Vermaelen and Sagna and a buy a good young CB (from DJ &NB52 sales)

That's 70m isn't it

ST : Higuain, Giroud, Sanogo
LW : Cazorla, Podolski
RW : Walcott, OX
CAM : Fabregas, Rosicky
CM : Fellaini, Arteta, Wilshere, Ramsey, Frimpong
Plus the defense as it was last season
We can sell Gervinho and Coquelin if need be and probably even make a profit next season

It's unrealistic but if we want to win the league then it's probably needed

Also long as we can keep Sagna one or two more years, I wouldnt mind us sending Hector Bellerin out on loan. So we can have a better understanding of his ability to step up and fill Jenkinson's shoes as second choice RB.
