Several reports have been coming through that Wenger is looking to get Morata from Juventus this summer. As he has fallen behind Mandzukic and Dybala, he wants a first-team position. Price seems to be up there...

Sources are weak, but many have jumped on this so it's discussion worthy imo.

Here are some games of his with his whole performance, pretty good indicator of what kind of player he is:

Has he not been pretty poor this season?

Still probably a good player there.

Juve would have to pay €80m to Madrid if they sell him to another club before Madrid's buy back clause expires so if you include the €20m Juve paid for him in the first place we'd have to offer €100m +€ 1 for Juve to make anything from selling him.

Real Madrid retains the right to buy back its former forward Alvaro Morata between summer 2016 and summer 2017 for an amount ranging from 20 to 30 million euros ($21.7 to $32.5 million), which would be paid to Juventus, the player's current team.

Online whistleblower Football Leaks, which specializes in revealing soccer secrets, said that this clause was included within Morata's contract when he signed for Juventus in July 2014.

According to a copy of the player's contract, signed by the three parties involved, Real Madrid received 20 million euros ($21.7 million) in four installments.

Real Madrid also convinced Bianconeri not to sell or loan the Spaniard until July 16, 2017 when the repurchasing option expires, and if the Italian side breach this clause, it has to pay 80 million euros ($86.8 million) to Real Madrid.

The Spanish capital side can exercise its right of buying back Morata until the first half of July 2016 or during the same period in the following year, on condition it notifies Juventus one month beforehand.

In case Real Madrid decides not to buy back the player before summer 2017, it still has the option of benefiting from the player if Juve receives an offer to sell Morata to a third party.

This transfer is NEVER going to happen. He is either staying at Juve or going back to Madrid between now and summer 2017 when the buy back clause ends, nowhere else. Again €100m+€1 Euro is the minimum offer for him until summer 2017, please dont get your hopes up guys. Only hope of signing this guy is a MASSIVE devaluation of the euro happening between now and then .

There were rumours that Real Madrid would buy him and sell him on for a profit; which wouldn't be surprising at all. So, I wouldn't rule it out; just depends on whether or not Morata is willing to move via Madrid.

Why so serieuse?
I'm sure real can be convinced to drop the clause for appropriate remuneration. Depends on if we can get anyone else in and how much we want him.

Don't see Madrid triggering his buy back clause, probably focus on a CF with a higher profile like PEA. Would take Morata, still has the making of a top CF. Unfortunately he could be another project type, taking a full season before he really delivers.

His assist yesterday reminded me of Henry’s goal against Real. Disappointing that we were so scared to sign him.

Mortal would great, but he needs the right manager. A manager that will push him.

Not even Juve are relying on him for goals. They're supplementing him with mainly Dybala who's actually a quality player. Even last season it was Tevez. I know he's only 23 but he's never scored more than 8 goals in a league season (he'll probably surpass that this season). Harry Kane is a year younger and had 21 last season and 19 already this season. Lukaku is also younger and the past 4 seasons has 17, 15, 10 and this season 18.

Depending on the price I wouldn't mind him as a rotation option. Him, Welbeck and a proper top class striker along with the likes of Sanchez (hopefully regaining form) and Özil (hopefully staying and carrying on his great form) would make for an incredible attacking line up.

People still don't want Morata after four years of Giroud and Walcott. **** me, let's just wait for Aguero or Messi then.

Morata would reach two more levels in here. There's definitely top level potential in him.

Pity that he can't move Juventus unless he takes it to court or waits until 2017 though.
