65 +

It doesn't look like a trend anymore. It's a part of the scheme. And these subs become more and more unpredictable all the times. What do you think about these Wenger 65+ substitutions?

He's obviously trying to stop players from becoming fatigued. Another problem with a lack of dpeth.

Agree, but we face the fact of subs of the best players on the pitch, this doesn't make sense, does it?

I reckon he rather save them for a rest for future games than allow them to continue because theres more important matches to win for us and we dont need more injuries.

I'd rather we sub people on the 65th minute, than the 75th minute. That way they get a bit longer to adapt to the game, but still, 60mins would be better.

Yeah player should atleast be given 25 minutes to have the cahnce to make an impact on the game or sub a defensive player for an offensive one. And if we are winning a game then we should use all the subs just to give them a taste of the game. If Henry has scored and there is 15 minutes left what is he doing on the pitch?

Robin should have been brought on with at least 30 min to go yesterday. It was clear it was one of them nights when Reyes, Hleb, Bergy etc never would score. Robin's usually the man to put things right when this happens.

Yup, he's definitly the man.
He has such a big impact when he comes off the bench, guy is amazing.

He called RvP back to the bench and he was stripping ready to come on, then we scored a goal and he left Robin on the bench and bought on Pires for Hleb who he obviously felt was tiring.

Turned out to be a good idea because I think Bergkamp would have been the man to come off and we would have been in trouble with an injured Henry and no subs left.
