Liverpool and Man Utd also seem to dominate here in Scandinavia. Man Utd makes sense given the combination of success + having some of the most iconic footballers of the past decades, but Liverpool always puzzled me a bit given their relative lack of success during the PL era.

Man Utd does seem to dwarf everyone else though, especially among more casual fans.

Huh? You’re a Scandinavian West Ham fan? Wtf?

I don't know what but something is happening in City.

They had their first training today.

I think they don't have enough players and that they are not buying because of FFP.

Look at their team:

  • GK: Ederson, Ortega - enough

  • Defenders - Dias, Ake, Stones, Akanji, Gomez, Lewis - enough

Defenders out/wanting out - Cancelo, Walker, Laporte

  • Midfield - Rodri, Kovacic, De Bruyne, Foden, Grealish, Perrone, Palmer - not enough

Out/wanting out - Phillips, Silva, Mahrez, Gundodeh

  • Strikers - Haaland, Alvarez - not enough
They have 17 players including Perrone, Palmer, Lewis

If they are going to have same injuries Arsenal is favorite for the title.

Also Arsenal in this moment have much stronger team. What do you think?

They probably sign Gvardiol, Pavard, and winger to replace Laporte, Walker, Cancelo, and Mahrez.

Gundogan gone. Walker, Cancelo, Laporte, Mahrez and Bernardo want out.

They’ve lost quality players before and just carried on dominating due to Pep. Losing Gundogan and Bernardo is huge though, irreplaceable players that have allowed the ginger guy in front to pretend to be a midfielder while they actually run the game.

It's one thing to lose a quality player and keep carrying on but they're losing *a lot* of talent that's been a big part of their dominance over the years.

Pep will find a way for them to still crack 90 points the bald ****

Walker is a huge loss as well, he’s a 1 of 1 in football. The recovery pace is a cheat code.

The mental thing was that Walker ended up being a specific 1v1 situational defender this season and was rotated a lot, played in some big games like the Madrid tie in the CL.

Yeah he dominated Vini in the second leg. Sounds like he’s pissed at being dropped for the final.

Yeah but Madrid basically didn't touch the ball the entire game lol, Vini and the other Madrid forwards didn't really have a chance.

Pep will be their biggest lose. Even if they lose their first 3 games you can bet he will pivot to another tactics

Until he leaves it's always going to be an outside chance for the other top teams

I think losing Gundogan and Silva is huge. Mahrez is an insane rotation option to have as well. Laporte has been upgraded so that loss they can cover. Walker is difficult to replace, but they probably replace him with Stones and a tactical change like they did at the end of the season.

I don't know, we've improved our squad from a position of strength already and they have a massive turnover of important players. Might take time for them to gel and it could be the big chance to win the title race this season. However, last season we had a lead for most of the season that statistically had never before failed to secure the title. So they still remain the favorites.

Is this going to be the year KDB finally gets exposed as a fraud?

Arsenal Quotes

When you start supporting a football club, you don’t support it because of the trophies, or a player, or history, you support it because you found yourself somewhere there; found a place where you belong.
