You make it sound like he's not good or something but he broke a record no striker did before?
Yes, which means he's amazing at putting the ball in the back of the net, but he's a flat track bully, disappears in big games. And when he's not scoring goals he's pretty much dead weight. Alvarez when he's not scoring still has a lot to offer, so as an overall footballer I rate him higher probably.

So Darren England was in the UAE midweek on an all expenses paid trip and got paid 5k to ref a UAE domestic league match.

**** me dead. City's owners are literally paying PL referees.

How is this allowed to happen?

Not as excited about City’s current poor form, they are always a threat and can win anyplace, anytime. They are still favourites this Sunday.

What gives me more confidence is how we can play more conservative and deny them space both on the ball and behind our last line. I think we’ve learn that you don’t go toe to toe with such an efficient team. You have play the patient, defensive game.

Hopefully we have a chance to play our best setup too, featuring Zinchenko, TP5 and Rice.

We literally took a trophy off them at the start of the season.
Talking of trophies, the shield that is played for in rugby in my country was broken during celebrations last weekend and was pictured with lines of white powder on (suspected cocaine), apparently there’s been an arrest.

They're rattled. I saw Silva and Pep making sure to call it a "deflected goal". It's interesting that last season when they were fortunate for Silva to still be on the pitch in the first half, there was no mention of that. When they got their 2nd goal which was offside at the Etihad, the said nothing about it being offside. Today they said nothing about still having 11 men when Kovacic should have been off twice. 2 deflected goals or not, that's 2 on the bounce that they thought they'd win against us and didn't and the 3rd will be sweetest of all, the dirty, cheating c*nts.

We need to have a serious discussion on Phil Foden. He's supposedly the golden boy of English football, and he had as much impact on today's game as the injured Saka. I can't tell you what he did today. I have an agenda against him because he escapes criticism too often. He picks up all the medals that KdB and Rodri gifted him, but he's asked to be the main man it gets scary for him.

You’re on to sth here you know.

I’ve been wondering about the hype myself. Not just about today mind, and I think he’s a very good player, but I feel like he’s not as incredible as the pedestal he’s been placed on.

His technique is fantastic and borderline world class but technique alone doesn’t get you that far. You need more. He doesn’t have the physicality of a Saka, the raw speed of Martinelli, the passing range of kdb, the tiki taka cerebral quality of an Iniesta. Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying Martinelli is better than him (although he might be…), just pointing out that Foden is a few arrows short of the world class quiver that he’s often labelled with.

Still, quality player.

Micah Richards says himself Foden isn’t quite what they all thought he’d be yet. Whilst he’s a gooner he’s obviously pro City.

I think when it comes to English football Saka is undoubtedly the man, there are like hostage negotiations for him to join up the national team and he has one leg atm.
