There is no way they are surviving the 115 charges. The whole premise of City not being punished was the PL 'wouldnt do it'. Well guess what, they just did it to Everton whose crimes are on a smaller scale. The pressure on the PL to hit City hard will be overwhelming given they precedent they have now set with Everton. Juventus did not get any special treatment back in 2006. If Juventus, the crown jewel in Italian football are not above the law, what makes anyone think a lipstick on pig football club like City are a special case?

They are ****ed, and reading the bluemoon forum, many of thier fans are resigned to it happening and already speculating which players would go with them down into the championship - apparently Foden and Rico Lewis will stay, while most others will **** off.

I wonder if the FA has finally realized that their precious product is in danger of stagnation with City being so dominant and that they needed to take action to correct it. Take City out of the equation and you have a highly competitive league with 6 clubs capable of challenging for the title. Leave City as it is now and you risk alienating PL fans and damaging the product.

Thats not the point. If they were this good on merit than fair play. But they are clearly cheating. They took shorts cuts early on with back alley deals. And in modern times they with a straight face try to claim higher revenues than Real Madrid and Man United. They will cite their 'success' as a reason for this. But FFS Real Madrid won the CL three times in a row, and this was before City won their first CL. You just know their revenues are 'sponsorship money' from companies with a UAE address.

I think its really important for the integrity of association football in the UK that Man City are delegitimized. For 10 years they have cut corners and taken the piss out of their competitors who actually follow the rules (minus Chelsea of course).

In the sport of cycling, doping was so bad, basically everyone started to do it because the sport couldn't clear out the cheats. If City get away with it, then everyone will follow suit & football will be like cycling - off using offshore bank accounts to pay players, shell companies to remit payments to players. Getting paid 5m to perform a 4 hour coaching class of emrati kids. PGMOL referees making more freuent midweeks trips to referee matches organized by the same people who own a PL club, the clear conflict of interest is ignored.

This is a moment for English football. Both Chelsea and City must pay for their crimes, otherwise we go down a very dark path
