Aaron Ramsdale: Arsenal's #1

On the small sample we have, it looks like having Ramsdale on the field sets up the team to perform better. Yes we should consider that his inclusion coincides with Gabriel's return and Tomi's introduction, but I can finally see our backline taking shape and freeing up the team to actually play some football. And Ramsdale is part of that.

On shot stopping we haven't seen much of Ramsdale yet, but he did have that one save against burnely in the second half that he did well to keep out (it was hit at some pace up over his head). Lets see how he goes up against Son and Kane.
Leno is one of the best shot-stoppers in the league but I think Ramsdale will be fine at that based off his stats. He pulled out a worldie in the West Brom game as well in his debut.

Why so serieuse?
What a myth. Load of bs. Guendo did nothing of the kind. Ramsdale stood up for his player physically during the game. Guendo mocked the guy verbally about his pay after the game was over. Complete different levels. Anyone that can't see that simply has an agenda.
Guendouzi has stood up for his teammates plenty of times.

Wasn’t Guendouzi angry because Maupay injured his team mate? Could’ve mentioned pay but I’m sure more worse is said on the pitch.

Before then Guendouzi has got involved to back his team mate.

Guendouzi was an idiot for mentioning pay in a football match. Made him look like a spoilt tit. He’s young but think he will always have an immature streak in him.

Ramsdale seems like the sort of lad you’d be happy for all your daughters to marry. Assuming everyone here is over 50 and has daughters of a marryable age

Fans nowadays are sawftttttt. Guendouzi barely done anything major, I’m sure a proper manager would have protected him. Even someone like Mourinho would have praised his fighting spirit.

The invincibles would be crucified in this era for this…

Bullshit. Guendouzi was the only one who defended Leno and was visibly frustrated while everyone else just didnt care and let it happen. In that moment Guendouzi was the only one on the pitch with the right mentality yet everyone focusses on something he said that clearly started way earlier with the Leno incident. Scapegoat.

Everyone just follows Arteta propoganda m8. He did it with Özil and Saliba too and these people eat it up. He clearly feeds the athletic info so he can use them to his benefit.

Exactly right. He didn't defend his teammates during the heat of the moment, he waited until after the match ended to mock a player's pay and then rammed his hand in Maupay's throat after the final whistle blew and players were winding down to head in.

One of the more pathetic things I've witnessed from a "professional athlete". He was asked to apologize for his immature actions and he doubled down on that refusing to do so. It was over for him after this. Good riddance to the clown too.

Went to look it up again, and he did this after Maupay scored a goal. Still a gutless act - wouldn't look as terrible if he did it after injuring Leno on purpose.

The good old days when pundits were frustrated at us for being good offensively and poor defensively. Now we’re just poor in both phases. 😂

Forget about Guendouzi. He will not play for us as long as Arteta is our manager and the basque Pulis will be our manager until he is at least 88 years old.
