Can't wait to see the abuse Ramsdale Snr gets when he joins the Newcastle forum and tells lifelong Newcastle fans they're not " real fans " like him because they're not at the games rubbing shoulders with Ant and Dec in the corporate box.

Has his dad been on here?

Not sure, Dubravka is a decent No.2. Reckon they’ll just go with him rather than creating a Pope Ramsdale headache down the line.

A permanent move doesn't really make sense for Ramsdale either, he's not benching Pope when fit. He'd be better off going somewhere he's guaranteed to start.

He is benching Pope. He is better keeper and is ahead of him for England already. Pope also just had his second serious shoulder injury on the same injury and last time he was out for almost a year. I think pope is done at the highest level

Being selected for England doesn't really hold much water with Southgate in charge. Pope has been Englands best keeper for months, he's been in the form of his life. To say he's done at the highest level is just stupid, his last shoulder injury kept him out for 5 months.

Gimenez scored as well. Dallinga failed to score against Gibraltar

I watched that game, it was a mess. Can’t assess a striker when your CB’s are playing up top as well.

Arsenal Quotes

In June 1996, David Dein, Peter Hill-Wood and Danny Fiszman came out to Nagoya to meet me on behalf of Arsenal. Within an hour we came to an agreement. The Japanese directors didn't try to keep hold of me in the usual way but talked with persuasive arguments... But as far as I was concerned, the decision was taken. Arsenal. A decision that would change my life.
